start from the top: so is this a laptop keyboard or a desktop keyboard? USB or PS2? if its a desktop, try using a different usb port If its ps2, pull it out and replug it in, perhaps its not seated properly. If that doesnt fix it, replace keyboard. If that doesnt fix it, then idk
