  1. Jeez, I'd go home and prop your feet up and put on some House or something. That's a rough day.
  2. I was at a bar and eating chips/salsa within 12 hours of getting my wisdom teeth pulled...lol. Didn't even take any real hardcore meds, just 2 ibuprophens. I even had to give the sugeon a good vein to stick b/c he blew my first vein he tried to start an IV in. At that point I didn't even care though, high as hell from that damn gas mask. Fuck that thing was great.
  3. I was kinda thinking about it until I saw you want $150 AND my 17" ss rims...good luck!
  4. In the words of the cab driver in that Bernie Mack movie "Guess Who".....Iz gonna matter...oh iz gonna matter
  5. He's probably telling the truth, the car's slow lol
  6. I run around on SD year round. No issues here. If you have a good tuner you won't have any problems with SD.
  7. I'm no mechanic, you're probably right. I know there's a certain order you usually do when doing diagnostic work like this. I just know in my car I had one bad plug and it took me 2 goddamn weeks to figure out why it didn't run so well WOT...LOL. I'm kinda a moron though, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable would have realized it sooner.
  8. I'm sticking with bad/incorrectly gap'd/old plugs...lol.
  9. I'm simply saying as an outside viewer, I wouldn't say anything that the business owner and I discuss about a client, to the client...I'd let the business owner speak for himself. Otherwise you get into the issue of "man my tuner is talking shit about me to other people, fuck I guess I'll take my business elsewhere". Not saying that's the case here, just stating sometimes you have to think about the client's feelings and trust. B/c in the end, they're the ones who decide whether or not to go to your place of business.
  10. Ya, I run a 160 and it stays in the middle no matter what lol.
  11. If you really did just get off the phone with him, I doubt he'd want you potentially hurting his business...Just sayin. That's his client you're talking to.
  12. lol damn. I never really pay attention much anymore, I can kinda feel when my power is about to drop off. That and when I see that red light I just bang the next gear. I think if I try to pay attention to the tach and shiftlight simultaneously I'll bounce the rev limiter lol.
  13. Did you really just go there??? It's $139,000.00 effing dollars. If you can afford that...I think you can afford a engine rebuild LOL.
  14. And like you were saying earlier, it may be shifting at a higher rpm and the tach just looks like it's shifting at 5500 and it's really 5800 or something... edit: if you really want to know, get a shift light. I have a raptor shift light hidden in a vent and it's wired directly to the pcm. I think it's more accurate.
  15. Why would a tuner set a shift point at 5500 if it's still making power past there?? That just seems kinda retarded. Maybe it's an automatic thing..lol.
  16. I can't tell you how many cars I've changed plugs on and they are all sorts of jacked up and inconsistent lol. Check the gap, it takes a whole 3 seconds per plug.
  17. That's kinda how it was explained to me. It's not necessarily about shifting at peak power, it's shifting alittle past peak...So when your rpm drops you're in a better rpm for power in the next gear.
  18. I keep forgetting yours is an auto...312rwhp bone stock isn't that bad for an auto...is it?
  19. I guess I should probably check my fuel filter lol.
  20. My car has 95k on it. Been beating on it since I bought it with 65k miles. Made 414rwhp pre heads last fall, new numbers with heads in a week or so... You just need to figure out what's going on in there. LS1's are stout motors, something just needs to be tweaked/replaced. I'd do TR6 plugs (if you're n/a), gap them correctly, and see what happens. I still have stock plug wires and they work great for me.
