  1. Speaking of that silver decklid... Did you know that was damaged before I got it? It never has set right. There is a portion of the underside that is sheetmetal that is crumpled just a bit. It took me forever to get the trunk to sit decent, and it still will not sit straight no matter what I do. Matt (Seebs) can attest to this. I have not damaged it myself. Hell, I barely drove the thing the last couple years since I was building the motor.
  2. Looks very well done. I am definitely wanting to do one of these someday. Good work sir!
  3. I love my car because : There are not too many like it. I have done all of the work myself, to include doubling the horsepower and learning to tune myself. It does what I want it to. It was the cheapest sport compact brand new with a boosted motor. It has 4 doors but looks like it has two. People hate on the car with a passion over the internet, but love to give compliments in person. The looks on peoples' faces when they get beat by a Saturn is priceless. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b224/azn_ladie82/cars2/mms_picture64.jpg
  4. It was a personal decision based on financial needs. The needs have since been resolved. I am not in the business of scalping, buying ammo just to resell it at a higher price to someone else later. My personal code of ethics does not allow for that.
  5. I do apologize, I hadn't been paying attention to the forums in a bit. I don't honestly remember seeing your reply. That being said, I think I'll keep it. Sorry about not getting back to you. I am pretty sure I know who it is. I'm not going to call out anybody any further though, and at this point, I no longer care. I understand prices. Like I said, market value at the time, as I was looking at CTD.com and I was pricing my items lower than what they were offering. The 100 rounds was 115gr Remington JHP which I had bought 2 weeks prior for $100, at Bottom Dollar in Jeffersonville. I would already have been losing money on it before any lower offers or negotiating. I am just keeping what I've got now.
  6. Thanks to whoever posted this that didn't have the balls to identify himself. I posted reasonable prices that at the time were less, in some cases far less, than what was available at pretty much any store. I am not responsible for inducing/continuing any sort of panic. I just posted prices at less-than-market value. I got some PM's that were not just low-ball offers but, frankly, insulting. I was also negotiable to an extent, but not the low-ball price that was offered. To whoever you are that cannot assume responsibility, I'm glad I didn't sell to you, because with attitudes like that, I probably wouldn't trust you with a firearm anyway. Oh, not that I am going to lose any sleep over negative rep, but to whoever left the above comment, go fuck yourself.
  7. I do not absolutely have to get rid of these items, and I would rather keep them than sell them for a low-ball offer.
  8. Ah, good to hear. My inclinations were correct. Now it's time to check mine...
  9. I don't know where else to turn other than inside, and I don't know the inside of the F35 that well. If you've already done the roll pin then I don't know where else to turn. Hope you get it taken care of without having to drop the trans.
  10. Might check roll pins to see if they need replaced. Notoriously bad on these cars. Also check the shift cables' collars on the shifter bracket that attaches to the trans. They can become weathered and get loose.
  11. I remember going to the Pavilions in Phoenix, there were always a bunch of cars, but I don't remember it being anywhere near this size.
  12. While your thought process is accurate, the fact is that the license plates have reflective paint on them to enable the light (laser) bouncing back towards the source. A simple test would be to go outside at night and shine a highly visible red or green laser at your plate from a good distance away. It lights up like the Las Vegas strip. As most speed-detecting equipment is heading towards laser now, I think front plates are here to stay. What you're talking about is for perfectly flat and smooth mirror-type surfaces. Also, radar can pick up on either flat or curved surfaces, because the radar signal itself is curved, so it needs no prerequisites to bounce back. Good try
  13. No dyno yet. Conservatively speaking, I am expecting 400whp. People with this particular supercharger on an otherwise stock motor and E85 are making around 350whp, the highest ones so far around 370whp. Nobody that I know of has this specific setup as far as a motor build, but with higher compression, higher redline, higher boost, and more displacement than stock motor, I am wanting at least over 400.
  14. Update, over 2100 miles on her since the rebuild. She runs nice and strong. Traction seems to be an issue... but she sure idles nice. Oh, and Tyler, my clutch actually feels good again.
  15. Thanks man. It has got 1100 miles on it since the new motor swap, running strong. It's a fun DD'r for sure.
