I only used his shop once when I had a 07 suby sti. It was while he was dating, per above, a crazy chick. Unprofessional both times I went in to drop and pickup. Screaming at the top of his lungs at a customer on the phone (I could relate though some days). Then while I was waiting outside the office for him to get off the phone he hangs up and goes off on me about I was standing too close to the "shop" area. I played nice and said I was giving him space since he was on the phone and left it at that. I was standing between the front door and the office door. I had brought my car in for 30K maintenance and a few other things. When I drop I always take a picture of my mileage. When picking up I checked and it had a little over 50 miles higher. Wen I asked he told me I was lying even though I showed him a date stamped picture. A week later I figured out he did not do some of the agreed upon work and gave him a call thinking he missed it on the laundry list I had given him. I figured he had charged me so just bring it back in and have him do the work missed, not a huge deal. He proceeded to go off on me about random shit saying he performed the work and I was scamming him. I told him I could show him the new part still in my trunk and the bill showing the install labor for said part. I called it a day and never went back.

I have always used: Dyer sheets Irish spring Moth balls I put it in the cabin and engine bay. If stored in the garage I put them under the car also. I use gloves and make sure not to let any of the above touch me or my clothes.

I have had great results with Lexol. Both the conditioner for deep care and the quick touch up for a quick wipe down.

When doing my car or motorcycle I normally hand wash. Then, one step, is exterior quick detailing spray. I normally just use Meguiars quick detailing spray. Then chrome spray. Then glass cleaner. Then interior quick detail spray on plastic parts. Soooo... A friend lent me a bottle of top coat f11 sprtiz (no wash). I thought uh huh after researching it. Lot's of hype and LOTS of PR, Yeah right. So I used it two weeks ago on the bike. I had done a full detail on it a month ago less claybar and wax. It had around 1000 miles on it since that point with no cleaning attention. A lot of road dirt and a lot of bugs (country living at it's finest lol). Without washing I used it on the paint, chrome, glass, rubber (less tires) and plastic. Ok, I will admit I was amazed. The application made it smooth as hell. It literally melted the bugs off with ease. A lot of scratches on chrome and paint dissipated which I did not expect. I have since put around 200-300 miles on the bike. However the paint and chrome still are really popping/look awesome. Normally it has a heavy layer of road dust and bugs. At this point the scratches have not reappeared (although I do expect they will). Sure there are some bugs smudges/bodies but not nearly the normal and same with road dust. Now a small bottle (with coupon) is around $30ish. Now onto my question: Is there a better no wash solution that does the above with the same or better results? I am by no means a "detailer" but I do keep my things clean.

TSB 18-NA-355 is the most current tsb going from memory. I also hear doing a tranny tune will keep it away by disabling AFM. IDK if Chevy is doing a TC swap still or not for this issue. When I had my Camaro the most mod friendly was Coughlin PATASKALA location.
