On that note anyone have any leads as to where can I pic up a 69-74 block? Or should I just go with a Dart block
I'd go with a Dart block if it's in the budget. One less thing to worry about if you decide to turn it up later.
I made 750hp with a '69 block, main girdle with forged internals. It was a naturally aspirated combination.

Got ya, should work well with your turbo combination. I'd like to go with the same transmission for my new turbo motor. I'll be starting out with a powerglide that I have to save a few bucks.

Does it have the factory bellhousing or has it been cut for an ultrabell ? Nice piece and price. Grady does some top notch work.

When it comes to rear ends in Columbus......Babbit is the place I go. I'd give Gary a call and see what he thinks. He does a TON of custom work for all kinds of different types of rear ends.
I would give Gary a call. He does great work and is very reasonable with pricing. He has all the equipment and tooling to do the work in house and typically has a quick turn around.

Looks like it has a 6 pt. Well, if you don't wreck all that safety equipment is just added weight, right?
I guess that's one way of looking at it. None of the safety equipment is needed until you wreck. A well designed cage actually adds to the structure of the chassis and helps with the way the car works. Seems the newer cars are built more rigid and require less cage to make the chassis work. Very impressive set up and driving, none the less.

Well ran out of fuel pump the 3 340lph aeromotives just couldn't do any more. Time to get it to the track.

Really quick background, I'm starting a weekend project this week in our living room. The room has two exterior walls, and a wall that is against our garage, it is also above our non-heated crawl space. I'm drywalling the walls, but would like to insulate first including the garage wall. What insulation should I be using? R value? Brand? What has everyone used and liked lately?

Owens Corning R-13 or really any brand will do. If you're insulating exterior walls, you need to have a vapor barrier between the insulation and drywall to help with moisture. You can use a kraft faced insulation with the paper facing the inside of the room. Unfaced insulation and a 4mil visqueen used as a vapor barrier is typically cheaper than using a kraft faced insulation.
If you decide to insulate the crawl space, the vapor barrier is typically done a little differently. I would use an unfaced insulation in the floor joist, held up with a twine. I would lay a layer of 6 or 8mil visqueen on the ground.

I purchased my 92FS years ago when the M9 was adopted by the military to replace the 1911. It definitely is bulkier and heavier than most handguns being made today. It has always been a very reliable and dependable handgun, it is a real smooth shooter.
It's definitely has more weight and feels much larger than any of the Sigs I own. I shoot it as well as anything else I own. There's definitely better handguns out there for the money, but these guns seem to be on most "want to own list".
I will keep it in my collection, no reason to replace it. It has never had a glitch or misfire and has become a good conversation piece when most guys see it.

How do you like the 42? I was searching for one and almost had one off armslist but decided on a xds 9mm instead. Was worried about limited parts for them right now. Mag extender, holsters, etc.
Here Is my glock 27 and my xds 9. The xds is so much thinner.
