Spoke with Troy today. He's pretty sure the rims are 15x11's, he wasn't sure on the backspace. He's going to measure and give me a call, it may be tomorrow, he's working late.

If it's an 4.5 bolt pattern(ford), I may be able to help.

 

I'll check with my friend, he has a pair of 28x10.5's mounted up, he tried on his Mustang. I'll have to see what width rim and backspace. Not sure if they're on an 12" or 10" rim though, the backspace will probably be 6".

I'm looking to see if anyone has a set of 10 inch slicks with a 15x10 rim with a 6.5 backspace that I could use for a pass or two on friday .

 

What bolt pattern, 4.5 or 4.75 ?

No problem guys, we should have plenty of time to scale your car and make any adjustments you would like to try.

 

We've learned alot in the past on track rental days. You'll be amazed where your corner weights are if you've never had your car scaled before.

 

We plan to be there early also, just stop at our trailer.

We will have our scales at the track on Friday for CR Track Rental.

 

Anyone interested in weighing their car to see how it scales out, is more than welcome to stop at our trailer and use them. We'll have them set up for tuning between runs, they should be available most of the day.

 

I probably won't be making a bunch of passes with the Grand National, as I'll be helping a friend tune his car.

 

Just look us up and I'm sure we can get you on the scales to check your weight.

I saw some pics long ago after the cage and paint. Friend painted it, so he sent a couple of phone pics. Told me that you had some big plans for it. What about your Mustang?

 

Grand National...

Probably won't change to much as far as the powerplant for now. I enjoy being able to drive it pretty much anywhere. I will be upgrading the transmission and converter this winter. Needs more stall and a transbrake with the most recent upgrades.

 

Mustang...

Will more than likely be sold as a roller soon. I'm looking at a couple possible deals right now, still up in the air though. If nothing changes, I will be doing a new "true street" style, stock suspension car with the 427 from the Mustang with a pair of twins.

Not yet, still has the "little girly motor"...

I typically take one of my cars up and cruise around most of the evening. If I'm going up to watch, I usually park in Gaint Eagle's parking lot(beside Bob Evans)

I went to the show last year. What is this 161/Busch thing??

 

Fri/Sat Evening...

People sit in their lawn chairs along 161/Busch(Bob Evans) and a bunch of cars cruise around. Typically pretty big crowd, you need to get there early to get a good spot up front by the road.

I am looking for an MSD box. What cha got?

 

I have a MSD 7al-3. I also have a Edelbrock nitrous controller, both like new.
