SAFC, AEM Wideband, Philip 2-Step, 64 GB Ipod Touch and IC pipes
suprasonic replied to suprasonic's topic in LBTS GLWS
I actually have a pending sale on the wideband, got a text earlier today but I will let you know if it falls through. the rest is still up for grabs, i'm open to offers... I can go ahead and drop the ipod touch from $300 to $275 if anyone is interested. thanks all -
I have for sale some parts left over from my twins->single upgrade on my supra. I have an Apex-i SAFC I $150 AEM wideband gauge $150 2 step launch control $100 hotside intercooler piping by Greddy (great shape) $150 All of the above are in good shape and were used to effectively tune the car in its BPU state. I bought the hotside IC pipes and never used them, instead went with some custom fabbed ones for the new turbo. also, the above parts are at gearheadz sitting next to my car so sorry about not having pics but if anyone is interested, I can meet them there. I also have a 64GB ipod touch that i barely use anymore after getting a 32gb iphone that I spent over $400 for about 6 months ago. It comes with the earbuds, charger, screen protector, case and original box. asking $300 all above are obo prices and I need the cash fast so make offers! either PM or call: (937) 760-3230 thanks for looking

out with the old in with the new! thanks to rob, she's coming together nicely! http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs457.snc3/26165_1422198796681_1284051340_1219187_7231777_n.jpg /back on topic

not to jack your thread but i am in the same boat! i would rather a small economical car then a truck and would prefer something 4wd but my budget is a little higher, let me know if theres anything available?

i saw a younger kid in the back of a cruiser and both cops leaning over to what looked like the floorboards, and throwing shit off the shoulder... wouldnt be surprised
-
anyone see that shit? i glanced over and saw two cruisers and a k-9 unit pulling over a van. the driver was in one of the cruisers and the officers looked like they were tearing shit apart in the van!! crazy shit, probably will be patroled pretty heavily, be careful anyone else see this and know more about the situation?

also, would craigslist be a legit place to buy one? everything on craigslist seems way too shady nowadays and I would hate to buy a stolen one or get taken for a knock-off. ebay has some decent pricing but it's hard to snipe the cheap, used ones. I also won't have the cash till Wednesday, I'm just trying to line one up asap to minimize my downtime without a phone, it really sucks

Sorry I haven't checked back in awhile. I have a contract with t-mobile and so I would be using their data plan along with a hack my friend uses to access their network. I can't really switch to AT&T so i would need to buy one outright and unlock it. I honestly don't see the need to spend more then $500 for a used one especially seeing as how I can drop by an AT&T store or the Apple store and get a 32gb 3GS for around $700 new with a warranty. spaceghost, i really cant do 600, sorry. troublemaker, i would be ok with a 3g if the price was a lot less but definitely nothing smaller then a 16gb and i cant get a contract. but please let me know what your friends is, if it's 16 or even 32 i would be interested for $300 if it's not stolen (just saying, a lot of them are). dover, where did you get that deal? I would be down for getting the deal you got. drewhop, please let me know what happens with your situation!! thanks everyone!! i really appreciate it.

do you offer tuning for an additional price or just runs today?
-
might creep by ntb as i'll be preoccupied earlier, what time does ntb usually go down?
-
whats goin on the 26th? ntb? i might be available
-
if you have one let me know! preferred 32gb but if a 16 is available for cheaper then it's no bigs. i'm around campus, white or black is cool let me know!

rob i'm leaking boost :(:(:(:( if i come by tomorrow can you see where it's coming from and fix it? if so let me know when to stop by buddy
-
why? what's your hookup scratch that, looked at your sig. i'm guessing thats what you were talking about? do i get a nice local supra owner discount gingy?
-
also, the ride height turned out awesome, i didn't feel much camber issues. maybe it was because we raised it before i had to test it out but i'm very pleased with all the settings on the suspension. i pinched it on some wet pavement to see how it would react and it was very responsive, accurate and predictable. can't wait to get tires on and align! does anyone know if ntb in columbus offers the same lifetime alignment deal as firestone?

not to hijack, but i wanted to get an idea how how much he would charge for my supra. i would want the back windshield as dark as legally possible to keep my stereo equipment hidden, both windows and both small rear windows and maybe a sunstrip. can the op or the tinter give me a rough idea how much to expect this to be?

i wanted to take a minute and thank rob for all his help yesterday, he did stainless brake lines at all corners, front rotors and coilovers all around. he works efficiently, fairly, honestly and these are all traits you cant get at any shop in columbus that i know of. i wanted someone with these traits in columbus for all my future project needs and I'm relieved i have a personal guy i can go to for help instead of the scary of big shops that don't care about your investment, but are more concerned with nickle and diming you out the door. i was apprehensive before i met rob because i didn't know first hand what kind of guy he is but i left the shop very pleasantly surprised. there is a reason that he's populating the majority of the threads in consumer reports. if you prize your car as much as i do mine, i would highly recommend rob for his personal attention, skill, honesty and fair pricing. also thanks dana for the ride to work, it was very very appreciated. i will see you when snow starts forming to start my masterplan!

damn, i was gonna creep out to this in the afternoon until i found out you guys moved? when did you leave your previous shop that was closer to columbus? this is like a 35 minute drive now

eh, just something to take a 550rwhp beating on a daily basis, i probably won't go past that power mark unless i decide on a drag setup rather then a track one. i was thinking of the Garrett hybrid twins for going APU, any clutch that can actually take that kind've a beating. I read the 30 or so page post on supraforums.com about clutches for 700-900rwhp but i have yet to find a bulletproof history on anyone of the setups except for the tilton. i heard good things about clutchmasters if you give them enough brake-in time before dumping. i think anything tilton is too pricey for me, i was considering the TRD twin disc but i think it caps out around 500whp. i'll never buy RPS again, not a fan of blitz either, any thoughts guys?
-
or advise me on a solid clutch setup thats less then the tilton triple FML
-
yea... it took way too much effort shifting to keep ahead of an m5 a few months back because of this issue...
-
I was mainly just asking if it could actually have an effect on the life of the tranny. Looks like I'll be visiting IPS for a credit card app soon
-
He told me we could definitely still use the oem flywheel so I'm not terribly worried about it. It's just that the same mechanic is changing my front rotors and installing a coilover setup I put together so I figured I could save some labor getting the clutch issue resolved at the same time. Would you say it would be detrimental to my tranny if I ignore this problem until I go APU? (6-9months hopefully) I say this because I have had some very painful gear changes and have often wondered if this is detrimental in the long-term. Getrag's aren't cheap

I think this sums up why.http://www.pp2g.tv/vZnB6Y3c_.aspx
