Did i have my info wrong? I thought the higher twist number was better. My uncles ruger sr556 is a 1/16 twist if I'm not mistaken.

I ended up getting a Del-ton 316H for 699. Pretty nice rifle. My only complaint is the lower and upper don't fit together quite as tight as some of the other ars I've handled

It started its life a mil-spec stainless. For the moment I'm changing the rear grip safety and hammer with a Wilson combat beaver tail, Wilson pro match trigger, and a set of night sights should make a major improvement. Just not sure what sights to go with or who to have fit the parts.
