  2. This is actually through the Mercedes Benz club, I'm pretty sure, but I too will be there. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of you guys!
  3. I actually found the "Lowballers Welcome" line to be funnier than the car. Thats the main thing I was trying to draw attention to.
  4. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/1849667775.html Lowballers welcome...
  5. Not a Subie whore, but I'd go for a WRX in a heart beat. Some of the newer V6 accords can be entertaining as well, although you said you didnt want FWD.
  6. And you'd save on gas. 16 cylinders cant be fuel efficient.
  7. Lol. http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa233/shredtastical/I-see-what-you-did-there.jpg

  9. You can tell the guy in that comment has no clue what he's talking about. The Prius uses a CVT, not a standard geared transmission.
  10. Impossible. It's the greatest engine ever created. http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/boyd18_photos/ls1god.jpg
  11. Sounds like a relay to me, since you put the stock pump in and still got nothing out of the injectors. EDIT: Just re-read where the stock pump had been sitting for a while. I'd see if I could find a stocker that I know to be good from a friend and try that one before you go drop money on anything.
  12. x2 on LT headers. They'll make the car sound a lot better too.
  13. :asshole: In other news: The live axle is being kept out of Mustangs because people don't like it in their Mustangs. Are they just having knee jerk reactions about the issue without thinking about it? Yes. But in the end it's the reason Ford doesn't put IRS in Mustangs, and probably never will. People hated it when they did and they sell better without them. It's all economy.
  14. I think I saw the hook that grabs that line that helps brake the plane start wiggling after it hit something...
  15. Eh, the 4.0 wasn't terrible, just low HP and lots of Torque, which made the car jump off the line then fall on its face. It was a decent platform to mod off of. However, the new motor is everything a v6 mustang owner could ask for. Sounds like Ford finally joined this century and started replacing its decade old shitty motors with good ones.
  16. Buying parts new for a car this old is pretty silly. Piece the windstar kit together IMO. Call the guy up and see if he'll sell you the angled TB spacer and the rest of the kit for a reduced price, then go get the intake yourself and save a bunch of money. Buy the pulleys used. Its not like pullies go bad. http://www.moddedmustangs.com http://www.3.8mustang.com http://www.mustangcollective.com http://www.v6power.net Hell, get on Craigslist both locally and an hour or two away. If you can save $50-$100 on the part buying it on c-list it's probably worth driving 2 hours to get it. I was talking to my 3.8 friend and he said not to get the TB. He put it this way, "The stock one flows plenty, those are for boosted applications primarily." Companies put up testimonials that sell product. That's why you see such wonderful things being said about the TB in the testimonial, but everyone who's not affiliated with the sale says don't buy it. Idk what the alumium driveshaft situation for your car is like but I'd get one if you can get one for cheap. Those reduce rotational mass by a lot (frees up horsepower and torque) and are much stronger and more stable than the stock one.
  17. Yeah the 4.0 doesn't have this difficulty as far as I know. Just a few bolts and a torque wrench. 4.0 > 3.hate
  18. Well shit. Do they sell a kit that contains all of the pulleys besides the crank pulley? That would probably be easier if it's part of the balancer.
  19. Yeah the 3.8 is kind of a piece of shit until you boost the shit out of it. The only good quality about those motors is they're pushrods that can handle stupid amounts of power when you build and boost them. Oh and they're really easy to stroke into a 4.2, which is what most of the v6 fanatics do.
  20. LUK MA I PEGGED MAH SPEEDO!

  22. The people are stupid and dont' know how to drive their cars for themselves trend?
  23. Meh. Your car your money. You were looking for cheap bolt ons and this is a fairly substantial gain for a part that can be found damn cheap at your local U-Pull&Pay. It'll make your car FEEL a lot faster since it adds primarily torque and not horsepower, so your drive to work will be a little more enjoyable. Anything in terms of bolt-ons you can probably do yourself by following one of the eleventy billion internet guides out there. I'd keep suspension stock if it's just a DD for you. Maybe lower it to give it a better look, but not too much to the point where you scrape on everything and plow the streets during the winter.
