RymerC, I did a little bit of sway bar research online. The M3 rear bar is stiffer and mounts the same way. The M3 front bar is actually smaller, but is stiffer due to mounting directly to the shock instead of to the control arm. If your struts have the mounting bracket on them for the sway bar, then you can benefit from the M3 bar. Clay, it seems that the M3 shift lever will shorten the throw in the 318 by 33%. If you are going to do it, replace the bushings in the linkage at the same time. I found a big improvement in going from the old stock rubber to delrin. http://www.understeer.com/shiftlever.shtml

I bet you could make something close with some patience and a jig saw. It might not be as nice, but it would be cheap and you could take pride in your creation.

I have one tire that has seen 3 track days this summer for sale. The outer shoulder is worn more, and the inner is almost new. On average I would say it still has a little more than half of the life left in it. You can mount these inside out with no trouble because the tread is the only reason they have an inside and outside label. Once worn, it no longer matters. New this tire is $200. Id like $60 OBO. It will go to the highest offer with cash in hand. I am in Dublin, OH. http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0772.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0771.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0773.jpg

I have 4 good wheels with center caps, plus a spare without a center cap. As the pictures show, they are in great shape for 17 year old wheels, and have never been curbed. There is some dark brake dust that needs to be scraped or otherwise removed for them to be perfect. Again the pictures show what I mean. The tires are worn out. The wheel offset is 41mm. I am thinking $350 OBO. They will go to the highest offer with cash in hand. I am in Dublin, OH. Thanks for looking... http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0774.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0780.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0779.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0778.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0777.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0776.jpg http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0781.jpg Here is what they looked like on my car: http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/CIMG5080.jpg

Lowered the price by $400.

I second the pro left foot brake + throttle comments. 1) allow turbo to build boost 2) shift FWD brake bias rearward for better rotation. Common in rally, but useful on road courses too. 3)ease brake to throttle transition in cars with a sloppy drivetrain, or power that comes on quickly due to engine tuning, etc. I used to left foot brake my Mazdaspeed 3 a lot on track, including when on the throttle to get more rotation without bleeding off too much speed. Xyster's MR2 also responds well to the technique to build boost before braking is done.

No trades. My next car is already waiting for me to sell this one. Thanks for the encouraging comments all.

With no shame I recommend my S4 Wagon. 4.2 V8 6 speed manual and AWD. It is a great car, but I miss my Mazdaspeed 3. I am asking $16.9K here: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104693

I am selling my Audi S4 to buy back my former Mazdaspeed 3. The Audi has been nice, especially over a 1200 mile road trip that I just took. For me, it is just a little too nice since I want a car for cycling and carrying my dog about. Overview: 2004 Audi S4 Avant 4.2L V8 6 Speed Manual All wheel Drive 96K Miles Black with Black leather interior $16,499 OBO Details: Automatic lights Fog Lamps Recaro Leather seats Heated seats Moonroof Power Windows Keyless Entry Bose Sound All weather Floormats Cargo Cover Side and curtain airbags ABS AWD Stability Control Here is what I have from Carfax 1/7/2009 57,831 Lower control arms replaced 4/10/2009 60,331 Valve cover gasket replaced 4/10/2009 60,331 Cooling system serviced 4/10/2009 60,331 Serpentine belt replaced 4/10/2009 60,331 Transmission fluid changed 10/14/2009 67,031 Brake pads and rotors replaced 3/10/2010 72,292 Air filter replaced 7/28/2010 73,244 Ignition Coils replaced (Version Q) 9/15/2011 84,847 Intake manifold gasket replaced I also just replaced an ignition coil and the fuel filter. How good are the tires? I am interested, and I am in your neighborhood.

The seat is from Brazil and meets the regulations for that country. The US model has a larger side airbag and an active head restraint to prevent whiplash, which other markets didn't get. I made the driver side seat into a gaming chair for iRacing. The seat and wheel are mounted to a simple wooden frame that I made and the whole setup has wheels to make it easier to move around when not gaming.

I have a brand new, but not legal for the US Civic Si seat from the '06-'11 years. This one is Brazillian spec and would make a great gaming chair for iRacing, Forza, or your game of choice. I do not recommend it for a road car. I am thinking $75 OBO. http://i737.photobucket.com/albums/xx18/bkirkbride/IMAG0670.jpg

RacerX78, These will definitely fit the 07-09 MS3. I used them as racing wheels on mine. They are wider than the stock wheels, and are nice for running a wider tire. I am not positive if the 10 MS3 is any different, but I think it is basically the same.
-
No thanks, biggu. I am putting car $ into the M3 now. The wife doesn't need the upgrades on her car (ms3).
-
Yes, they are still available with center caps. I am willing to negotiate, so make me an offer. I also have a Cobb rear sway bar that I will be selling soon. It was great on the track, but this car is back to daily driving only.

TTT These are still available for those of you with MS3s, RX-8s, and possibly others cars with the same bolt pattern (Ford?).
