Thanks guys, it was an awesome experience. I think a new bucket list goal for me is to hike every mountain range in the United States then potentially start venturing out of the states. I think the next stop will either be the Rocky's or the Alaskan Range. It's very addicting.

Took a trip out to Seattle to visit a buddy with a few friends. Gotta say, Seattle is the weirdest city I've ever been to. Tons of homeless people and hipsters far beyond what we have here in Columbus. As far as the hiking goes, we went to Gem Lake in the Cascade Mountains about an hour and a half east of Seattle. It was roughly 5 miles up and 3000-3500ft elevation climb and we were at about 7000ft elevation at our camp site. We passed a larger lake called Snow Lake where most people stop which is about a 3 mile hike. Where we were was so remote there were only 4 other people total camping at Gem Lake. The way up was very difficult for someone who doesn't have super strong legs (from my accident) and not in crazy good cardiovascular shape. It took about 4 hours total to get up and 3 hours to get down. I know a lot of people on here ask about cool vacation spots. While this may not be the most relaxing, it is something special and I'd highly recommend it for anyone who loves the outdoors. The pictures honestly do not do it justice. From where we were it literally looked like the cover of a National Geographic magazine. So I watched the movie again, in IMAX (loser I know) and man, this movie is SO CLOSE to being a top 3 war movie ever made IMO but I don't know if I can get it there. There was one obvious thing keeping it from there. *Spoiler* kind of... There was no gore almost at all. If they made the movie at least closer to Private Rysn, maybe not quite that far but at least meet it somewhere in the middle it's easily a 4 star movie and top 3 war movie of all time for me. It still might be top 5 in my book and possibly top 3. Still thinking about it
