Heard a crazy stat today about Alabama QBs in the NFL. McCarron is the first QB from Alabama to start an NFL game and win since 1987.

Now you're just looking stupid. Where has that been said? I think you Bama fans think there is this HUGE gap between Alabama football and everyone else, when in reality, it's a very very small gap.

I think the point is that Alabama players seem to get extra credit in college simply because they play for Alabama and not because they are actually that good. Sure, some do go into the league and do well, but every school has players that do well. Same goes for Heisman voting. If and Alabama player is invited to New York, it's already a done deal because of the exposure Alabama gets. How many voters do you honestly think watched more than 3 Stanford games all year? This isn't to take away anything from Alabama as a team or a program, but they get FAR more credit than deserved and it's blatantly obvious to everyone except Alabama fans.

I'm hoping at least one Bama QB is good. I need McCarron to play well for the next 3+ weeks.

We have a tougher schedule next year, but we will also be playing like we actually have something to prove, unlike this year. I could see us being a playoff contender next year. The biggest question mark in my eyes is going to be how the offensive line preforms. If the O-Line can start off strong without a huge learning curve, I could see us beating Oklahoma. If they struggle much like they did last year against VT when we lost, we could be in for a long few games.

What's the word on Gibson? Last I heard he wasn't dressing for games because of grades, correct? and there was a chance he could transfer? Is he fully expected to play next year? What will our receiving depth chart look like? Also, who is filling Washington's spot on the line? I'm guessing Lewis is. I really like Lewis and I can't wait to see what Hubbard can do starting next year.

I'll be impressed with Henry when he does what Elliot did last year in the playoffs. Until then, Elliot is easily the better big game back. Elliot > Henry

And if you don't think there is bias involved, you're fooling yourself. He's a great running back, but in my opinion not the best.

I guess that's incomprehensible to Jive. Dalvin cook ran for like 200 was yards than Henry on 211 carries versus Henry's 339. But Henry is better, right Jive?

Henry is a great back but I wouldn't even have him in my top 3 RB's in college football. He is a product of the system and hype machine that is Alabama. I'll be impressed with Henry if he does what Zeke did last year in the playoff, but if they are one and done and Henry has a meh game. That will just add to the pile of evidence of how corrupt college football has become.

The last 15 years is close. Alabama has more national championships 3-2, but without looking the stats up right now I'm almost certain Ohio State has a better overall record, better bowl record, more conference championships and more BCS bowl wins, along with more playoff wins as of now.
