ESPN's college football's front page : Why '15 Alabama would beat '14 Ohio State. Like why is that even an article ESPN? What the hell does that have to do with anything. I might be being a homer but I think the 2014 Buckeyes in that 3 game stretch may be the best team I've ever watched. Teams that would compete with the 2014 Buckeyes IMO 2001 Miami Hurricanes 2005 USC Trojans 2012 Alabama I'm not going to add in teams before I really watched football and knew what was going on. Plus, Miami (ohio) could beat the best team ever assembled before 1950 by as much as they wanted to. I know it's all relative, but I'm thinking in terms of putting both teams on the field and seeing what happens. Almost everyone conference honks though, not just SEC fans. The SEC is just the worst about it, but you're stupid if you don't root for your conference to do well. With how subjective everything is and how everything is based on perception, how good your conference is absolutely plays into how the committee views your team. Look at Alabama. Every loss is a "quality loss" and almost every win is a big time win because it's against SEC opponents (perceived the best conference).

How about all of the fans of SEC teams chanting "SEC SEC SEC" At their bowl games the past 6-8 years?

Could you imagine the meltdown from SEC fans and Alabama fans if the B1G ruins them 2 years in a row? Priceless

If Ohio State doesn't get in the playoff (most likely scenario) I REALLY want to play Notre Dame. I HATE... Out of curiosity is the playoff set up for conference champions only or the best 4 teams? Because listening to them last year and this year, I feel like I keep hearing them say that they are trying to get the 4 best teams in. If that is the case, why so much weight on winning a pathetic conference (ACC, SEC)? Hypothetically speaking UNC beats Clemson and USC beats Stanford. If the committee is true to their word by putting the 4 best teams in the playoff there is no way they can insert UNC over Ohio State. Nobody can say UNC is better than Ohio State unless UNC throttles Clemson by 17+. I know Alabama fans will be begging and praying that UNC gets in over the Buckeyes. Alabama's one trick pony offense won't be able to move the ball on Ohio State's defense and they know it. Realistically, I hope Michigan State gets Bama first round and punches them in the mouth. After 3 straight bowl losses, no way Alabama gets the benefit of the doubt like they have gotten this year in coming years.

You know the SEC is good when Florida who has absolutely no offense can manage to go 7-1 in conference play right, Jive? But please, go on and tell us more about how much better the SEC is than the B1G.
