Have you read anywhere that JT is arguing his case that he isn't guilty? If JT is essentially admitting guilt, then why wait for the legal system? I'd assume Meyer discussed with JT what happened and JT told his story to Meyer and Meyer did what he gets paid $5 million a year to do. I just don't see how you can logically believe that in this situation JT should be playing this Saturday. I trust the guy that gets paid to make these decisions. Kinda surprised by the people who don't.

What about the Rutgers players? The ones who were waiting to be charged with burglary and assault. (I honestly don't remember) but were they handed punishments by the school and team before their court dates?

Did he know the rules before he decided to play football for Ohio State? I'm not saying the NCAA should have authority because I think the NCAA is a joke, but for now, you gotta play by their rules unfortunately until conference leaders grow a pair and separate themselves and make their own rules.

Well, you're held to a different standard if you play college football. Should you be? That's not for me to decide since I don't make the rules. Should a war veteran get discharged out of the military for a DUI, losing all of his benefits and somewhat ruining his life? Depending on who you are, you're held to a certain standard. Nobody cares if John Doe burger flipper gets a DUI because he has a low standard position and job.

Yeah, I mean those could be very early rumors but I doubt it at this point. I haven't seen anything else about it.

Idk the validity of these rumors since they are coming from rivals message boards, but they're saying that the car JT got caught in wasn't his car. It was a "loaner" he was taking for a "test drive." I'm sure you can guess if those rumors are true why it could be much more serious than a DUI.

Kill got Minn back on the right track to at least be competitive in the B1G. It's too bad about his health, but Minnessota fans and many B1G fans are glad that he was able to get that program back on track. Hopefully they can keep it moving, but I know at least their next 3 games are tough (Michigan, OSU and Iowa).

Baylor is a system for QB success regardless of talent (or so it seems). I wouldn't be surprised if their backup comes in and puts up big numbers. Either way, I'm not scared of Baylor even if their starter wasn't out. I'd love to play them or TCU honestly.

I'm sure that's what people said about us after JT went down. Not saying Baylor will have the same success, but let's wait it out and see before we draw any conclusions.

Take aways from the weekend: - Oklahoma and Stanford are looking really solid and if they win out, will likely get a spot in the playoff (Stanford may be the only team left in the Pac with a shot) - Ohio State's offense looks scary now with JT. Our Defense looks even more scary. - Clemson is now in a class of their own in the ACC - Miami football hit an all time low - LSU is literally trash without Fournette. Key to beating/blowing LSU out = Slow down Fournette. - Alabama's offense is really struggling - Houston is for real. Tom Herman probably gone after this year - If the winner of the AAC is undefeated they should get a playoff birth - Ohio State is still the best team in the country

I heard that. It's too bad, but he'll be back for our big games I've been really impressed with some of our young guys on defense. In particular Sam Hubbard and Tyquan Lewis. Both are complete beasts and would start on 95% of CFB teams.
