I'm more confident with Barrett in a big game than I am with Miller...Hell, I can't think of another quarterback I'd rather have in the past 10 years for Ohio State that I'd rather put in a big game. Don't even say Troy Smith, because we all know how that turned out. The only QB I can say that I might rather have would be Pryor in a big game scenario.

What was the score of the Alabama/LSU game at the end of regulation? How bad did they dismantle Arkansas? What about Tennessee? What powerhouse does Alabama play this week? I'll patiently wait for your excuses...

From an objective view, Mississippi State shouldnt get credit for a "quality loss." Who have they beaten? Their top 3 wins are against LSU, Auburn and Texas A&M. I wouldn't be suprised if Miss St. drops to 7 or 8 to be honest.

Interesting stat when people complain about tOSU's SOS... Ohio State has 6 wins against bowl eligible opponents. Florida State has 5 wins. Alabama, Miss State, Oregon, and TCU have 4 wins.

A few things I'll be looking at Tuesday when the rankings are revealed. How much will TCU be punished for almost losing to a terrible team. Who will be ranked higher, Auburn or Nebraska? How much will Wisconsin jump? Any chance OSU jumps the Big 12 teams since this week?

I don't see any way ole miss or auburn is ahead of us. There really is no justification, especially how much respect Ohio State is getting. I could realistically see us sitting at 7.

I'm hoping for 7 or 8. If we are 8th, we will most likely be the ranked as the 2nd worst 1 loss team behind only Nebraska. I'm hoping maybe the committee will put us up above Arizona St, although that will be tough given their showing against ND. Too bad FSU plays a hilarious schedule, so they're pretty much a lock. There best chance to lose all season is this week against Miami.

TCU won 30-7, but consider these two variables. They played Minnessota at home, and the game this weekend will be in the teens. If the committee does a straight up comparison, I feel like that wouldn't be an accurate measurement. Then again, does anything in college football this year make sense?

Minnessota too. No way A&M should ahead or even close to Minn.

Just compared a couple game stats...Barrett vs. Mariota against MSU. Mariota : 17-28 318 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs. 9 rushes 42 yards 0 TDs. Barrett : 16-26 300 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs. 14 rushes 86 yards 2 TDs. Pretty solid considering Mariota is leading the heisman race pretty handily. Also, consider the fact Mariota got MSU at home while Barrett got them at home.

That was a HUGE swing. No telling how much that impacted the outcome. Clearly Oregon looked better the whole game after tnat, but with momentum and the crowd having an impact, it's possible Utah could have had a fighting chance.
