Had a great time! It was my first in-person drift event. Most interesting part is... now the wife wants to drift.

What would be a good time time to head out there? I live in newark and its a 2 hour drive. Would it be best to get there early or later and let the line die down? Im taking the wife and 2 year old. And the young one doesnt like to sit and wait in the car.

yeah. they pulled it out and put it on the engine stand. and thats how I bought it.

I have an 83 351 windsor motor bored 30 over with aprox. 130k on it. Its out of an 83 e250 van. It spun a rod bearing at 50k and was rebuilt and bored at that time. Its all stock except for the bored part. All it would need is a gasket set a carb and cleaned up a bit. asking what I have in it, $500, bought it in hopes to build something fun....but have to fix the daily.. it pops and makes a lot of noise when going over bumps and turning, any ideas? thanks!!

i know you said 302, but i have a 351 windsor bored 30 over for 600. 125-120k miles needs cleaned but ready to go. just needs new gaskets and carb. out of a 83 ford e150.

We, the wife, child, and I, went down Saturday to Newport aquarium and stayed the night. Then were gonna spend the day at the track. But when we got there it was closed so we went to the cincinnati zoo instead. Bummed but was still able to do something fun with the family

i was thinking maybe in late may or june give the weather time to straighten out haha. also give people time to plan ahead and schedule off for work.

Just wanting to see if anyone would want to do this. From what ive read on here quite a few people have kids, so I thought we could have a "family friendly" meet. Maybe go to QSL for lunch and then hit up the magic mountain up there. They have better go-karts than the brice road one and they have bumper boats. Just a thought I had, just post what days would be best for everyone and we'll see how it goes from there.

I havent dealt with them in buying or selling, but I took them some flyers for import faceoff last year. and they were gonna let me take a yellow and carbon fiber NSX.... now mind you they didnt do any kind of background or credt check, they just said it would be a good idea to take it there. Unfortunately I was not able to take it because their insurance company said no. just adding on to the comment of letting morons drive the cars. yes i know i just called myself a moron, but the most powerful thing ive drven was my dads 3/4 ton truck with a 454 in it. and that was for maybe 15 minutes when i first got my liicense.

Im going to be in need of a muffler, maybe full cat back havent looked yet. Its starting to get loud and rumbly. Id like to get something with some decent sound, but nothing too loud, have a 17 month old. I work at autozone and have been looking at the universal mufflers. We have a flowmaster 44 pro series. But we dont take returns on those and I dont want something that sounds like crap. any advice is helpful. thanks!

88 vw fox? 600 needs a few things like gas tank patched, hole on top, 1 tire- on a full sized spare, passenger wiper connector arm and a fuel filter.
