To each his own. I have measure temps on my stock rotors after driving hard and stopping hard compared to my slotted and drilled rotors. And I lost 30* temps +\- on each rotor. But then again, what do I know..

73k miles is pretty good for OEM rotors.. If this is on your autocross car I would upgrade.. Just my .02

That's a good idea Pull fuel pump fuse and pull spark plugs and have someone crank it while your under it. Already talked to him about the oil pan. It's pretty much like my jeep, better to just pull the motor if your going through all the work to pull the diff.

If they are pulsating that bad I highly doubt machining them will cure your problem. By the time you machine off enough metal to make them true again, you will probably be under spec. And will warp again. I would upgrade to some slotted rotors.

What is your idle set at? IF you rev it do you hear it still from under? Maybe idle is set to low and the ECU is trying to keep it alive?

Ive seen this issue before with the crate motor SRT jeeps... They have windage tray intermitt. clearance issues with it? Causes a slight tap or so Just throwing that out there.. And I know what your talking about the diesel motor.. As in like the random Idle knock diesels give out.. Do you have any inspection plate to take off to check the flywheel bolts?

The only thing I would be worried about with buying a diesel over 100k miles is past maintenance.. You can buy a ford, dodge, or chevy and if they didnt maintain it... It will break down fast. (probably why they would sell it cheap) Im a cummins fan. Just my .02

I would not be happy if my wife was downtown by herself. Lol. The first time I did night photos downtown I was by myself at 12:30 am. Lots of trash pickers and crazy people.

A group of us are looking for some old run down buildings, sweet graffiti, etc. Been searching on google for a while and haven't came up with too much. I did find that nelsonville has a water treatment plant that's run down. If the ladder would hold me I would climb to the top. Would make sweet shots.
