I never knew that many people jumped. I don't know which is more horrifying, the sound of the fire Alert warning Beacon inside the Trade Center, or the sounds that came from the witnesses as people were jumping out. Can you imagine being a firefighter and going up into either of the Twin Towers with that death curdling, Armageddon-esque siren going off nonstop. The sound of that thing is just beyond creepy. The History Channel should allow other networks to run that documentary on every anniversary. Powefull Shit.

I did I completely forgot just how horrifying that day was. Happened upon this segment on the History Channel and was damn near ready to throw up after 30 minutes. Watched the whole thing, it was downright painful. If you didn't take a solid hour to reflect back on everything that happened fifteen years ago do yourself a favor and and watch the entire thing yourself. Never Forget.

I was on opiods for 3 months after foot surgery. I wouldn't go so far as to say I got addicted but I did experience a week or two of rather irritating withdrawal symptoms. I delt with it like Man. Besides, I really don't care for them Opiods, im more the Cocaine type :gabe: At any rate what im getting is IMO the vast Majority of those who switch to Heroin from Painkillers switch because they miss the "High". It's not that they can't deal with the pain, it's not that they can't deal with the withdrawals, it's that they can't deal with not getting absolutely blitzed every day all day. "I switched to Heroin because I got hooked on painkillers". No, you switched to Heroin because you got hooked on getting High.

Tech-School is a Cluster Fuck. Period. Intentional? Unintentional? No clue. But it's pretty messy. Im sure there are exceptions (Hobart/Devry). But from what I've gathered it's more often then not a nightmare.
