  1. As they say, if it's on fire, you'll get out just fine. lol Man, that car is glorious.
  2. Your replies are what I need right now. Thanks to those of you who visited the site and left comments. Those comments will be submitted to officials in Wilmington soon. The site will also be turned into a working forum. The replies are adding up quickly!
  3. That rear differential has seen hell. lol
  4. It is possible. A lot of work has already been done. I wish I could divulge details to the masses, but I can't. Rest assured that I'm working hard on this.
  5. Thanks for the heads-up! I fixed it right after we got your response! Thanks for reposting, too.
  6. For those of you who are just hearing about this, there has been an ongoing effort to establish a standing-mile race in Wilmington, Ohio. Street and race vehicles of all types (motorcycles and cars) get a full mile to see how fast they can go. It's not unusual to see cars and motorcycles going well in excess of 200 mph during an event. The http://WWW.WILMINGTONMILE.COM website is now in existence. It was originally used for an audio/video presentation to city officials and Port Authority members in Wilmington and Clinton County, Ohio. Those officials are now contemplating the pros and cons of an event in their town. http://WWW.WILMINGTONMILE.COM now has a place for you to make comments and get on our email list. I'd like to see comments from probable attendees, something about you and the people who would attend the event with you. I'd also like to see why you would like to see this event occur. No personal information will be seen or used by other parties, this is just for Wilmington officials and us. http://WWW.WILMINGTONMILE.COM will eventually be a forum for discussing all aspects of a possible race in Wilmington, Ohio. A RACE HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED. This is simply a method by which we can gain some detailed information about possible participants and spectators. Let's take this opportunity to show the foilks in Wilmington that The Wilmington Mile will be fruitful for everyone involved! Thank you in advance and feel free to post this in whichever forums you choose.

    Goths are Posers

Wonder if the VeeDub still had that little vase with a flower in it on the dash...
  8. Threw the hole freakin' jug off that beeyotch!
  9. No pic, but it's a bright red '97 Suburban XLT 4x4 on 33s and a 3 inch lift. Got it last year with only 46,000 miles. I'm at 68k now. Love that truck!
  10. The biggest asses are in California. I lived just south of San Francisco for a while. I did not meet a single person I liked.
  11. When you do not wear a safety belt and the car has no front plate, you are breaking the law. Police officers enforce our laws. Is there some reason why they should exclude you from laws that apply to everyone else? It is normal and predictable that you will be further questioned or held temporarily if you are verbally stand-off-ish. If you are pulled over for a legitimate reason, just be a big boy and handle the consequences. Your frustration with the bad decisions you made are not the fault of the officer.
  12. Do the RSC and then call Valentino Rossi for the rest.
  13. Forward facing parachute for Hayabusa. Call me crazy if you want, I think it's gonna work.
  14. I can honestly say I do not even remotely fear death or dying. I just want to be doing something bitchin' when it happens. Keep me in the loop. I wanna jump above Xenia again. Nothing like being under a canopy a mile up on a clear day.
  15. That's some good stuff right there. lol
  16. My GF and I would like to go again in the spring. We went through Skydive Greene County last time.

    Winter Hobbies?

Rebuilding my GF's daughter's Honda Civic, upgrading the Hayabusa's fuel system, riding the dirt bike, attempting to set up a standing-mile race in Ohio. I'm also rebuilding a 2005 Suzuki Bandit that will be my other street bike.
  18. Turbocharging is God's way of saying that the human race should enjoy life.
  19. If there's any comparison checking you need to do, let me know. I have one.
  20. I sure hope it includes vehicles. I sold a 1973 Corvette coupe with a 555, a 1968 Corvette 427/4-speed convertible and a 1968 big block Camaro during that time! Knowing my luck, I'll get a check for twelve cents. lol
  21. Man, there are some badass watches out there these days! I've not worn one for at least 20 years. I'm pretty utilitarian in that regard. If there's a clock on my cell, why do I need one on my wrist? Also, I break stuff A LOT. I once crushed a Rolex my parents gave me by driving over it with a 1968 Impala (no, I wasn't wearing it). lol
  22. The event I imagine is one that approximates the rules of Texas. We all want to go fast, we just want to make sure people don't try it in/on an unsafe vehicle.
