  1. Trade for an Evo 8, 2002 Chevy 4x4 and 20k cash? Ha. Beautiful car man, good luck with the sale!
  2. Perhaps try a difference approach- pay them for their training. If you can afford to pay someone 3x their current pay (assuming they make 10 an hour now, that's $30 per hour/61k a year), surely you can pay someone 10-12/hour during their training. Also, it seems strange that'd you message him a job offer. Perhaps a coffee chat to show the benefits of joining your company and then you offer would have been good? If people can't see why joining you is beneficial, show them. If you can't, it's not really beneficial.
  3. Numerous people on CR have used him. He's Hispanic...probably won't actually stab you but the prices are good and he gets offended if you try to negotiate with him because he's already so cheap. Apparently you've never seen Juan's work- he doesn't cut corners. Your guy does great work, I've seen it. My one interaction with him? He was a dick head and then never called me back. Not good business.
  4. Damn that's some big ass injectors. Right now I'm running RC 1000's....hope that's enough. I project I'll be a bit over 400 on E85 pending I up the boost a bit (again, I was at 340/360 at 22 psi on 91 octane) JP- you have any extra fuel rails welded laying around?
  5. I just heard OSU lost a top 2016 recruit but don't know the name/position. Any insight?
  6. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/121480451836?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82 Perhaps Jeg's would have something like this in stock?
  7. It could be- the guy moved down here from up north (937 area code). Apparently a guy named John/Josh Fox owned it before the PO (Ryan Sheriff) Good to know man- do you have to weld those on or are there things sold that allow them to convert? I'm adding a fuel pressure regulator so I need to make it work for that.
  8. I totally agree- it's all on how it's written. But a blanket statement to say they don't hold in Ohio is incorrect. Companies wouldn't do them if they were useless.
  9. Sounds like the love lost will go unnoticed. Just make the offer enticing enough for the person that would kill a business- I'm sure they're aware this move will do that too. Nonetheless, business is business. Good luck. #RollTights
  10. Jesus lol, I ran a 18.1 in a 1/4 in a 120 hp Ford Escort. :gabe:
  11. False. False. Bingo- Non competes that are worth a shit DO hold in the state of Ohio. I work for a major company in HR in a highly technical division- ask me how I know. Hell, I'm under one now and have a chance to leave for something that would violate it- I know I'll be in a battle. Jive- if there's no non-compete, and I doubt there is, there's nothing holding you back. Just don't expect to have a new best buddy in who you're taking them from. :dumb:
  12. That guy is a fucking dick, don't use him. I use the same guy for all my rentals, he's phenomenal. Don't negotiate with him though, he'll stab you (I'm actually not kidding). His prices are more than fair. He does everything from windows to siding to drywall to toilet clogs. Juan- 614-746-5982
  13. Thanks guys. Second guesting my high flow rail decision- I'm reading everywhere it's not needed until 500+, I won't be anywhere near that. I can save $150 by sending it back- basically covers the tune. Any opinions?
  14. Hey guys, Since I have an XB1 and a blu-ray already in my bedroom, we have no need for an extra. This is a Samsung Model # 80EM59C Refurb 3D/Wi-Fi blu-ray player with a brand new CE Tech 2 pack of HDMI cables (one is 8 ft and one is 6 ft). Links: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/BD-EM59C/ZA http://www.amazon.com/CE-Tech-HDMI-Cable-Adaptor/dp/B00AU4S60C (this, but one is 6 ft and one is 8 ft) Asking $30 for both, OBO. Get it out of my room, haven't used it in over a year. Can't remember if I have the remote or not. If I do, sweet. If not, sorry!
  15. Lol I changed my USC/Wisconsin winner to USC 5 minutes before the game. Fml.
  16. Start in HR. Trust me. PM me if you want to elaborate as I'm busy now but can provide more insight.
  17. Good question- the car can run e85 with bigger injectors and fuel pump, both of which already were there when I got it. I did buy a FPR and a high flow fuel rail, although neither are needed (225 for both). The tune is an additional $195 and I'm having them set it up for dual mapping. I'll raise the boost to 27/28 and be well over 400 for about a $400 investment (since injectors and fuel pump were there).
  18. Dude I called that on the first post lol
  19. Car was tuned today by SlowMotion- it put down 340/356 @22 psi. I had them go conservative because I messed up and had 91 in it and it was a month or two old. It's irrelevant because it's going e85 next month anyway and they're retuning. Just didn't want to switch if the car was running like ass. Picked her up tonight and she runs great!
  20. Bad news- sucks to write because it's been a rough night. My wife and I made the decision tonight to bring her back. She was showing some aggression towards our cats and that was our biggest stipulation- they came first. We tried different ways of introducing and she just wasn't having it, one cats were scared shitless. Before we got too attached, we decided she wasn't the right temperament for what our home offers. We made a mistake and I balled like a 10 year old girl when we went through with it. We are going to take a break and search in a few months. Thanks all for your help, we really do appreciate it. I know some won't agree with the decision and I respect that, but after we saw her reaction to them it made my wife uncomfortable enough that she didn't even want to pet Olivia. Not good for either party.
