  1. who knows now given alot of import fab companies have bit the dust. would be less than a few hundred bucks, but could always order a s13/s14 and z31 front subframe to see 1st hand how the holes line up. just really depends what engine you want to go with. the rb20 would be for sure something unique and flat out sexy. good luck with the car hunt.
  2. I honestly haven't gone down the RB worm hole. another hurdle you may face is the cost of abused old transmissions. w58's from 2nd gen supra's are what r154's use to go for a few years back which is utter silly tbh. a straight forward route would be cd009, stock vq35 from 2nd gen g35's for better head flow, variable timing cam lock delete, turbo, aftermarket ecu, and let er rip. forget affordable 2jz and even with solstice trans now. solstice trans were 800-900 as of last week and then add in the cost of bellhousing, flywheel, etc. did a quick search and the z31 suspension can use s13/maybe 14 suspension bits with random parts from other nissan models here and there. another research route can look into the infiniti m30/j30 suspension swap parts list. pretty much just searched z31 suspension swap. there also maybe some more options with z32 suspension bits. the nissan, toyota, mazda suspension swap parts have a alot of options. also i think the z31 can use the j30 rear diff which is considered the big dog for rwd bolt in irs parts for nissans and front sub frame swaps to get several japanese engine options. just depends on how much you want to tear into the car honestly. many of the 2nd gen supra folks i talk to here and there always say to spend money upfront for a car in better condition upfront and worry about the rest later.
  3. do it if you want a fun toy. alot of suspension options, cd009/z31 5 speed trans options, countless adapter plates for swaps, etc. here is my word of caution with having a past with 2nd gen supras and 1st-3rd gen cressida's. how easy is it to find parts for heat/ac, weather stripping, trim, body panels, etc. literally had to drive down to north carolina to cut out rear quarter panels for a 1st gen cressida due to the "store" being in a rural area with no shipping option.
  4. so the state with rolling black outs and forrest fires.... bans gas chainsaws that helps in taking proactive measure to avoid forrest fires and wants to add more stress to their electrical grid by adding more plug in devices to it. slow golf clap. well played cali. well played.
  5. ouch that sucks. once the housing market cools off and companies start seeing the higher corporate tax rates if that passes, it's going to be a bumpy winter. im honestly at the point, i just want biden to get back some positive momentum economy wise so were all not going down towards another 2009 recession.
  6. please show us metrics how he's successful. pic a topic and don't avoid the economy/inflation while your at it. btw I do agree with you regarding china.
  7. Yea Clay there are a slew of issues going on right now. The Taiwain or South Sea can get messy in a hurry.
  8. "the s197 has traction control, but it's like a game boy. only works under perfect lighting." lol
  9. on a plus it was one sentence reply.
  10. so your answer is insults to people you don't agree with. carry on.
  11. did the cr libbies all of sudden get anti tax?
  12. 0 fucks given. the benefit of being in shape is being able to eat whatever. my diet is alot of meat. cut back on the front butt and holla back.
  13. jesus. wife just went to get bacon at costco. twas 12.99 for a pack before election and now 21.99. thanks obiden. highest its been there in our 5 years of membership.
  14. the other potential factor is transportation cost given the price of current fuel which could come out as a win for you tractor. not sure if it's enough to win the cost battle.
  15. infiniti j30. all the nissan 240 suspension options work, comes with the strong diff 240 guys swap too, and don't have to pay the drift tax. 2k for a solid running car without crazy miles. pre-warning the car is as ugly or worse than the 928.
  16. thats fuckery. also the tuscon/phoenix metro areas dont have smog exemptions unless your car is older than 1967. most states are 20 years.
  17. never changed my stance. you made it political about taxation and got an "L". fine for one and not the other. to quote randy. taxation is theft.
  18. "He also weighed in on several potential revenue-generating options to fund the project. He spoke fondly of a mileage levy, which would tax travelers based on the distance of the journey instead of on how much gasoline they consume. “A so-called vehicle-miles-traveled tax or mileage tax, whatever you want to call it, could be a way to do it,” he said. Democrats have slowly pivoted away from a gasoline tax in favor of a mileage tax amid a simultaneous, climate friendly effort to encourage consumers to drive electric cars." https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/26/buttigieg-says-white-house-is-weighing-mileage-levy-to-fund-infrastructure.html pete my two husbands has been pushing it. the mileage tax or registration tax was a way to make up from the loss of gasoline tax. now your against being selected for higher taxation. k.
  19. gerg you get a special "aloha"
  20. we'll agree to disagree. nothing wrong with that.
  21. had to include blue just to get your reply. yes kerry, property taxes do reinforce old segregation lines regardless of cities, as you agree. maybe people should be able to spend or donate how they see fit without having to pay to the evil "man/woman/gender terminology" to pay for causes they do not believe supports the best interest of there community or there family.
  22. property taxes are used as a means to keep old segregation lines from before in blue cities. thoughts?
