  1. Side question. What is the big import junkyard in Ohio? I have heard good things, but I forgot the dam name. lol. I can remember that you give them a list and they give you a price for delivered to your door.
  2. Cool. That makes sense. I honestly do feel bad for the guys at autozone near my place. They have a line of 4 people and the phones are ringing off the hook. If they miss a call because they are taking care of customers, they get garbage from corporate.
  3. It's called part if the job and being able to handle it. So now I am some young punk ass kid. lol. I haven't said anything negative about you at all and I'm being cool about it. Honestly bro, life is too short and there is more important things to be bothered with than useless internet drama. I get the fact that you work at a parts store and deal with all sorts of calls, so do I work. So I get why you're all defensive about it. At the same time its called being professional. One bad call doesn't give the right to carry over to the next. Cordell, I agree with you. Since I am new to the area sort of. I figured it would be worth a shot too see what is there is available junk yard wise. I just like to have back up plans just in case the message boards, craigslist, etc doesn't pan out.
  4. Thanks for the info. I will hit them up.
  5. You're right. I am sure the do make a killing while leaving 5-10% or more profits on the table.
  6. It doesn't matter. Alot of times it's peoples first exposure to a specific junk yard. I'm not asking that much. I would think that with craigslist and message boards around, they would be more inclined to do more. It's not like people have to deal with junk yards anymore.
  7. Are there any that don't have a dumbass girl with a shitty attitude answering the phone?
  8. That why I avoid Easton. Too much stupid shit for whats it's worth.
  9. Speaking of stupid shit. I spotted a late 90's cavalier with plumbers tape for vinyl graphics and was rocking the Mexican flag.
  10. Epic thread material. Pee before to avoid spraying confusion. I can probally say that discussing a flesh light in a public forum is not the best way to manage things.
  11. You may want to try this guy: http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/2214885202.html
  12. ImUrOBGYN, pretty cleam MKIII you have there. Gotta go and find parts guys. Thanks for the patience.
  13. No there's no pictures of what I am working on now. It is a 79 Cressida, but its completely dismantled and spread throughout the house. So there's really no point. It currently does have a 5m engine for now. I will start gathering parts to put a 7m head on the 5m block. I already have a MS-II for it that I assembled. Yes I am going to with a w58. With the hybrid engine I am planning, I need the closer gears since the engine will rev high and have to stay in a narrow power band.
  14. e-rape long and slow. lol. What ever floats your boat. j/k This is close to what I am working on now. I prefer the older Cressida's because they weigh 2400 pounds fully loaded and there is a ton of weight to get rid of. They also have a solid rear end so I can use the Toyota Truck rear ends that have a huge aftermarket support for. Plus it's 4 doors so I can still have fun and still get the kids in and out. http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/chrisj011/imagesqtbnANd9GcRUXM9voyq_eEyLTXbgtbCR31J5GB-4HfD3MrTcm6PLF_YU9_Xu-g.jpg I prefer to tinker with 4m/5m/7m engines. Yes I know there are the jz engines, but the arrogance that comes with those engines gives me a headache. Yes I am aware of the uz engine engines, but it's too many parts to replace if I grenade an engine. My next project will will be in god knows how long(with white walls, roof rack, and a turbo 1fz engine): http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc510/chrisj011/1967-Toyota-Corona.jpg I am not that much into the wide rims, but the styling of the car is up my alley. Simply done and well thought out.
  15. Funny comments. The board is starting to remind me of the good ole days of http://www.turbomustangs.com.
  16. I do respect and appreciate the comments/time to correct me, but I don't post pictures of my car or family online. If I don't get approved due to that.... I understand and respect that rules are rules.
  17. Thanks for the opportunity for the forum. My interest for cars are mainly old school toyota's, but I respect anything built for speed regardless if it's American, German, Japanese, etc. Btw, my name is Jessie and I just moved here over a year ago. I stumbled on this site from another car site and I figure it's worth a shot.
