  1. thanks, I was trying to avoid replacing the whole set up since the flanges are already in place, compounding the issue is that everything is stainless steel so trial and error can get pricey. Can you recommend a good clamp company to call?
  2. audizine.com is probably a good place to start. here is the wiki thread which lists many specs and covers tuners to start researching. http://www.audizine.com/wiki/index.php?title=B7_S4 since it is an NA car the biggest bang for the buck initially will be to replace the down pipes and remove/replace pre cats with straight through's or hfc's another good source of data on chips, however there is not much to be gained for the cost. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/402306-Chips-Poll-with-customer-review
  3. did you try the "trade in my car" option on auto trader? I did this in Feb and sold my 300 srt-8 to toyota west. it is kind of like a car max, but there are 3 or 4 dealers who will purchase the car outright. worth a try as it gives you another option, even though it is wholesale price. https://tradein.autotrader.com/ATPages/TradeInMarketPlace.aspx
  4. the manual transmission is quickly becoming an endangered species. 2010 was the last manual tranny for the F250's.
  5. Sounds like a cool deal, how much are the raw oxide VR wedges. 52, 56/06, 60/06. With cheapest shaft? Shoot me a PM.
  6. Say it ain't so. From a group perspective I would say the CR version most closely reflects the original out in CA.
  7. thanks, so is it a matter of angle or depth on the flange or both?
  8. Kind of a dumb question, but are all v clamps the same other than their diameter? Working on an exhaust and need new clamps but just want to make sure I am looking at the right ones. Has anyone had good success with a particular brand?
  9. Thanks! Not sure, still working through the possibilities. I have read up on HPDE's and auto X, thought about the strip. I am certainly interested in having a little fun, but I need to talk to my insurance agent as well to figure out an approach.
  10. You guys are quick, I was wondering how long it would take to get a WV reference.
  11. Hello, my name is Josh and I am an addict. I spend every spare moment surfing auto mobile forums and cruising classified ads looking for mods or a new projects / toys. In all seriousness I am a huge motorsports fan and can spend endless hours talking or reading about anything with wheels and a motor. Growing up in WV, most of my time was spent on 4X4's owning an 85 S15 Jimmy with a 3" body lift on 31" super swampers, then an 83 Jeep CJ-7 on 33" BFG's, and 93 Jeep Wrangler. At that point I moved to Columbus and purchased my first new car a 2000 S10 Blazer ZR2 5-speed. Then I realized how boring it can be to drive an off road car on the road the entire time. From that point it was a 2001.5 VW passat (lowered on Eibach's and 18" RS4 wheels), then on to an 2002 Audi A4 which remained stock since my son was born about the same time. My most recent ride was a 2007 300C SRT-8 which was an absolute blast to drive. However after 3 years of joy I once again got the itch in February and sold the Chrysler.... After being carless for two weeks, I came across a great opportunity on a BMW and within 24 hours found myself on a plane to go pick it up in Philadelphia to drive it home. I found CR indirectly when researching the CC&C and joining ohiobimmers. From there the track and dyno days have peaked my interest even more and have led me to believe this is a worthy place to waste time. Thanks for the intro, let the flame begin........
