It is always tough enough to let a ride go that you enjoyed. But holy crap! To sell off a cool car then come on here to get judged for doing so is just crazy. Seemed like a nice ride, and no one will take the memories, not even some crazies on this site. Congrats!

My original 2007 300C SRT-8 was pretty good out of the box for a 4 door sedan. Brembo brakes did their job and the 6.1L was able to run 0-60 in 4.7. Steering was good for the first 24K miles and would grip smooth pavement like no tomorrow. Then the front end became loose, bump steer was bad, and both lower pistons in the 4 piston front calipers seized, throw on some good old engine management gremlins and a chasis that would twist with the wind on a rough road to finish it off. Glad I got rid of mine before the new one was revealed. But dollar for dollar, performance wise nothing with 4 doors will touch a new one, especially in a straight line. If they made the bottom end a little stronger on the new motor, the forced induction crowd will have a field day.....

It would take A LOT of water through the intake to do damage. Most moisture will be evaporated by the time it hits the cylinder heads. From the looks of it everywhere there is a webcam there is a speed sensor associated with it. At least on 315 heading north out of DT and 670 & 71 West out to the west side.

I have heard good things about the Aces IV gasoline formula, especially from the forced induction world. But what is the Aces III oil additive? I jumped on the BND website and couldn't find anything and a google search revealed this: http://www.acesfuel.com/products_oil_catalyst.html I am interested in trying the Aces IV but testimonials from CAT owners on the oil additive make me nervous.

So I didn't move around the city much during the winter but as the weather has gotten better and I venture out more I have noticed some type of new "traffic" monitoring system on the highways. My radar detector tells me they are monitoring speed via X-band somewhere around the 26.18 Mhz frequency. Anyone on know anything about it? Are they just monitoring average speed in general or is it something more? They seem to be monitoring in bottle neck areas or around interchanges.

You may want to check out a trek or gary fisher. Picked up a Wahoo (26") last weekend and I was pretty happy with the setup.

You may want to consider a matte color, be it black or metallic. Seems to be where many automotive colors are moving. Wrap is definitely the way to go.
