I had them do my FIC 2150s and they found one that was bad and replaced it for me. I went to get tuned at TPG and they found one was sticking open, so they were sent to FIC this time to get checked. FIC called me with news that one of the 4 of my injectors was a completely random injector that wasn't theirs, so ya i have no idea what slomo replaced my bad one with, but im about to be out $300+ to make it right

+1 for Ed he'll take care of you

Ya for sure, they are saying litigation to even try to fight this is going to be 6 figures, and what really seems unfair is they are going after the individual and not the company, so filing for bankruptcy wont save him from the 1 mil+ fine

Didn't see this posted here yet, really sucks for a well known shop and tuner The EPA is apparently going after Evans Tuning/Jeff Evans for 298 counts of breaking the clean air act and millions in fines. Its a long read but interesting http://www.vtec.net/forums/one-message?message_id=1314153 Something that stood out in the first post was "If the EPA's action against Evans succeeds, they will have, in one fell swoop, made illegal over 90% of the products and services provided by the aftermarket in the United States. Any modification that does not undergo California CARB certification or a US FTP emissions cert, would be de facto illegal for use on any vehicle made after 1971, regardless of the usage or venue of usage for that vehicle. No longer will you be able to custom tune a race car, unless you are willing to spend $10k to custom certify the emissions of that vehicle. And all production based racing series (see World Challenge, for example) would be required to use factory catalysts (which will not last in a race environment of course). Discuss

So adjuster came out and looked it all over, wrote his est for 6k. I tried to fight it because he wrote to repair everything and replace nothing, so i called to ask for a new rear quarter and new rear bumper. The answer was if they add any more to the estimate then i have to accept the car getting totaled out. Luckily i found a shop that a good friend works at that quoted me 6k with rear quarter replacement, new fender and new rear bumper. So im going that route, and they are allowing me to get the big parts and just providing labor and the little odds and end. Normally I wouldn't go out of my way and spend money on appearance mods, well because race car lol, but this seemed like a good time to do a couple things outside just replacing things with the same new parts. So some money is coming from my side to get the parts I want, but not a lot thankfully.

Well just a quick update, insurance is cutting me a check for 6k so im using that to get things fixed and in the end itll have a few ricer things on it lol
-
The goal is to get them to cut me a check then I can do ricer things to her hehehehe

That's roughly what happened plus a little too much speed, my instructor said if I hadn't instinctively tried to correct I would've just gone straight into the grass instead of the wall. Just one of those things that happens so fast that its hard to say exactly what I did wrong, but i have a good enough idea on what not to do next time. So live and learn, I still plan on continuing to attend events in the future. I filed a claim this morning, explained that I was at a drivers school with an instructor and shit just went wrong and I spun out into the wall. Gave her Jason at Auto Interests contact info and she said they will send someone out to look at it, so I'll know my fate by the end of the week hopefully. Jason has the signed incident report, so there's no reason to even bother trying to twist the story at this point. The events that transpired on Sunday are obviously more detailed on the report so there's still a chance they could deny me, seeing as she never asked where it happened nor did I mention Mid Ohio lol Also Andy I've met you at Auto Assets lol, the brown kid that came by one night after hours and drank beers

Wasn't timed I'm still a novice
-
I know and it sucks it was the last lap or so of the last session too
-
Ya I'm going with I was at a driver's school with an instructor the entire day learning car control, things went wrong at the worst part of the course at the end of the day and I ended up against the wall
-
Nope but still going to try and see if insurance will cover it otherwise I'll have some hard choices to make
-
ya spun out at turn 12

Oops and yes my fat finger is in a few pics deal with it lol Achbach's estimate is right at $12k  http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/14215587_10209856168221516_1446150391_o_zpsvnxeotap.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/14233694_10209856166541474_1146131526_o_zpsnej1zgb0.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/14233274_10209856167541499_213966432_o_zpsmtijkzov.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/14215618_10209856166061462_582044043_o_zpsfjlyxxud.jpg

Selling this for a good friend of mine, he just got his wife a newer Rav4 so he's trying to get rid of the extra car they no longer need Anyone interested pm me and I can get you his contact info 2006 Civic Si coupe All stock except for a short throw shifter and red emblems, decent tint and lip kit. Asking $4,800 The car had a newer engine put in by Germain Honda when the previous owner blew the stock one prior to me buying. The engine has about 30k less miles than the rest of the car. About 138,250k on the odometer. The body is a little rough all around, the roof paint is faded which is common for the year and color. Interior is clean, non smoker but previous owner smoked in it, no smell at all at this point but a couple small burns here and there. Air conditioner is a little spotty but works for the most part, you can charge it but it will leak out in a few weeks, all components do work though. Few other little things but the car is priced accordingly. Newer Yoko YK580 all season tires, recently bought all season mats, newer front brakes and stock suspension. Also recently replaced intake and cabin air filters. Steering wheel was also replaced recently with a new oem one since the original was well worn and in overall disrepair http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1687_zpsnyyyphk8.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1686_zpsa7k0aqvs.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1684_zpsbzqrmjfh.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1683_zpssgtuhsfk.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1681_zpsp0nogzji.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1679_zpsokdisuhq.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1678_zps5cef6n5k.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1675_zpsivyzy2fy.jpg http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll154/ihockey123/IMG_1674_zps8y9z04b3.jpg
