A LS motor (V8) is the lightest and probably the smallest power plant listed above. I vote new ND miata and follow all the aftermarket coming out for the car. Put a Rotrex on it and make 300whp at 2200lbs.

Depends on the organization. Some need a Snell, others want something hard on your head. $15-35. I have ran with, United Ford owners at columbus motor speedway, Buckeye miata club at circleville raceway, SCCA at nation trail and OSU, Corvette club troy at kilkare, Porsche club at national trail, Jaguar club in powell, OSU car club at akerman , Miami Valley Sports Car Club at kilkare. All have their perks. I hope Aaron and Millz put together some awesome events for us next year.

This is the problem. The karts vary by how worn the torque converter is. A new torque converter can give a single kart a 3 second advantage. Heat soak the motor and you lose power. Bad chain, even slower. At buckeye the only real variable is if the karts just come off charge or have been sitting if the place is empty. My times are always .2 seconds of eachother between karts after 50+ races there. Not impressed by anything going on at GPK. Give your money to good people at buckeye.

Just go to buckeye raceway. Problem solved.
