  1. Thanks for your reply. That may actually help me out a lot. I would love to find out what they have to say, good or bad, if either is willing to help at least.
  2. I have only met a couple members on here but i thought this would be a good place to post anyway. My name is Chandler and I attend CSCC as a full time student. I am pursuing an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology degree and i have a internship lined up with Honda in May. I have an assignment where they would like me to conduct an interview with someone in the field i am interested in. I thought someone on here may be in this sort of field and willing to help. It can be in person, over the phone or even through email if you prefer. Questions will be general and aimed towards helping me understand the field more. Thanks in advanced!
  3. I am also in the CSCC Emech program and start my co op at honda in may. Ill find the link to the application. Do you have any EET classes on M W?
  4. Always use .20g BBs never use cheap .12 bbs. Get a quick charger and an extra battery/mags. Comfortable glasses/mask and youre good to go. I got a JG G36 years ago but no place to use it anymore, im also in worthington...
  5. Just trying to help. That is where i would draw the line before you fall down the slippery slope of getting good sound in car. I had maybe 20ft2 of deadner, Focal K2 speakers, morel tweeters, alpine 9886 running imprint software and a sundown SA12 in my last car. As with performance, cost is exponential to quality. If i were you maybe throw some sound deadening at the doors and roof but then you start down the slope. My .02
  6. Here is a Sundown E10V2 modeled in a sealed .8FT3 box. Should sound really good. Cars add and usally resonate around 30-40hz so you will see a boost there. You could go smaller and add polyfill. Parts express is a great place for it and is close to dayton so shipping is fast. Sundown may not be the best but i have found it to be the best value or maybe try Obsidian audio. Seem to be a great value. Owner collaborates with the owner of sundown so slimier products. I just dont have first hand experience with them and they also do not make a 10". http://i.imgur.com/hEWsQuy.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/X9sVl11.jpg
  7. I would suggest a Sundown E-10. I have owned a SA12 in my own 2ft2 33hz box for over a year now. It sounded great and had a fairly flat response. In the trunk of my jetta it did a 141.8DB sealed in kick. I purchased it from SSA audio who has great customer service. I can design a box if you would like and show you some response graphs you might like but i cant build anything. The enclosure is half the sound anyways.
  8. You guys are fast. I race at 35raceway. I want to move up to a mod lite or buy a 240sx for drift, drag, autox and general abuse but i havent decided yet. Thanks for the welcomes, Chandler
  9. Can look at my other videos also.
  10. Hello i am 16 years old, ya i know but hopefully ill prove we all are not immature. I currently race dirt karts but i am into every kind of racing. I go to drag races and oval racing with my real dad and with my stepdad we go to autoXs and vintage races. My favorite thing right now is drifting, not as a spectator sport but because its fun and i always love sliding around. Saving for some kind of RWD. On to cars... I will be getting a 97 saab 9000 aero And my step dad drives a 2011 Subaru STI http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh3/rroe/130001.jpg Me ^
