Fortunately I’m still working as the Sheriffs Office won’t ever be doing any type of layoffs. So I just took it and bought a majority of the parts needed for my h/c/I swap on my SN95.

I was talking with a guy I work with today that had a confirmed case of the virus. He said in all, it actually wasn’t as bad as they made it out to be. Granted he is younger but it gives a glimmer of hope against all the negative and misleading info the media keeps pumping out to induce panic.

I absolutely love the sound of the new 5.0 with anything other than a factory exhaust. I bet that thing sounds rowdy.

So glad this is coming back.

Blue print makes some pretty good stuff. A very mild 350 would net you the power you want from them and still have a warranty.

I had the same car up until fall of 2018. Then I parted it out and crushed it. Almost cried watching it get smashed. I’ve since bought two more mustangs one is taking a little longer to finish with a career change and buying a house. The other is just a slow stock car to play around with.

So back to the old days of the Camaro. Minus nitrous.

I haven’t been very active on here lately but what’s everyone’s plans for winter changes or goals for next years racing season. I’m shooting just to have my LS car running and my 95 into the 12’s.

That thing looks like it leaves well but it has a ton of front travel. I think some limiters would help keep the front down and drop the 60 just enough for that 11 second slip.

Ohh god. Pretty sure we could all bring our beaters and out run 95% of that page lol.

I’ll be out in the morning for a few. Working second shift really puts a kink in racing this year for me.

15 years ago I was 11 dreaming of getting my first foxbody after going to a NMRA event with a friend from school. 3 years later I found a 86 gt sitting in the junkyard at my dads work. After begging dad and scraping some money together doing whatever jobs a 14 yo could do we went halves on it. I drove the wheels off that car. Nick Boyd and I spent an entire summer beating on it every weekend. From learning to drive a stick taking it to homecoming, prom then eventually swapping it over to Chevy powered. Just last year while taking it apart for some cage updates I found unfixable rust. I made the decision to part it out and made all of my original investment back. Hardest decision I had to make was taking it to the scrap yard and watching it get crushed. Not going to lie it was kind of emotional but I ended up with another fox that is rust free and is now getting a twin turbo ls swap.

I’m really looking forward to this. Hopefully I can make it to a few events with my new work schedule to take some money.

Definitely in depending the time. GPK has better karts imo. Raced at buckeye once and they kept pulling power from my kart to keep us all separated. Wasn’t really racing at that point.

Pacemakers has had really good prep the last few events since switching to the new prep. It sucks there isn’t a decent 1/4 track around that doesn’t require a long drive for us Columbus people. The only downfall to pacemakers is being able to get an event scheduled. The owner is very bracket racer oriented and unfortunately that’s not what is drawing the crowds anymore.

Since I crushed the car that is in my avatar I started over. Ended up with a rust free 88gt Fox. Swapped to all tubular qa1 front end with qa1 coil overs. Through the floor subframe connectors with a 10pt chromoly cage. A bunch of team z goodies on the rear end and a 6.0 with twin 70s and Holley efi. The goal is a consistent 8 second car I can drive to work.

I may have to swing by in the ole amberlampse. Our station is right around the corner.

Its not a very long shut down at all. 1/8 mile race surface and a 1/8 mile shut down. the entire idea was to have a spot where the faster guys could race. 90% of the spots in town have become super hot because the kids literally race them every night of the week then get mad when we have told them they are going to ruin all the said spots. Im not sure if i will run there just for the fact that i don't think i could get stopped on a spray pass without cooking my brakes.

It is crazy how fast a street car has become. I’ve been 5.90s in the 1/8 spraying. That was barely enough to be competitive this year. We had a guy come out with a pro mod s10 and was trying to street race it this year. Even ran the local cash days.

Switching to turbo LS so no longer need. Digital 6al. Has 2 track days and a handful of Mexico trips on it. $200 takes it.

I'll be out. Going to do a fluid change on the tranny and see if the car still flashes the converter as hard with nitrous.

I have a 99 5.3 complete motor intake to oil pan. I also have full wiring harness plus computer to make EFI. Motor comes with original 4l60 transmission was told the tranny needed rebuilt when pulled.
