  1. Actually yes, does that matter? We met online, decided we enjoyed talking to eachother, decided to meet in person and it took off from there. Been together 8 years now and we're happy as can be. I'm a very introverted person (hence my original post on this subject, personal expirence) and it was easier for me to talk to people online. I had other friends and stuff to do outside the internet, but at the time, it was a good way to kill time as I wasn't (and still am not) interested in going to bars and other social places.
  2. Fwiw, I met my wife online, it was not on facebook, myspace or a dating website.
  3. Well the new owner of these games had the time to get laid and be able to find every game made for snes. +1 life point over the current owner for the new owner at least being able to fuck a troll.
  4. Ima try to make it out tonight, it may be a lil later though (10:30-11).
  5. One sided arguement much? Taken from: http://curiosity.discovery.com/question/what-an-iq-test-measure
  6. Triple because wiggs' car is no longer relevant in this thread.
  7. The conversation as of lately in this thread is a direction I never expected it to go... I'd call it derailed, but there has been multiple derailments in this thread already. Thread should he renamed to something like: the thread about d.wiggs car that keeps getting derailed because the kids of cr have the attention span of a goldfish.
  8. I'd possibly be down for tomorrow night if I don't have anything going on (maybe taking the baby to wildlights depending on weather).
  9. Gotcha. You learn something new everyday.
  10. I would say that would depend on the people he would be around when he says it. Some people would agree with his opinion and some people would not, its all a matter of opinion. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with meeting someone on the internet, some people have a very introverted personality in person and find it easier to meet people online. It's easier for them to talk more openly through a computer where rejection wouldn't be as big a deal. Look at CR, I would be willing to bet that most comments made on here wouldn't be made to someone's face at a meet or something. Someone on here might be a huge dick, but the nicest person you would meet face to face.
  11. I was told that an IQ test isn't about what you know, it's more of what your mind is capable of. Like I said, this is what I was told, but you are the professional, so I do trust what you say over what I've heard.
  12. An IQ test determines what your brain is capable of (would mental capacity be the wrong term here?), now how smart someone actually is.

  14. It's sad to me that they would just offer insurance to the coaches to cover this instead of firing the coaches they know/find out about doing this.
  15. Ahhh, I didn't know they used a different trans in the GT500. I thought I've heard they were having trans issues too though.
  16. ^^ the first lol this thread has given me in a while
  17. Maybe Ford is brushing the problem under the rug with transmissions because they don't have a strong enough replacement for them lol. Just curious, you going to try to get back into a GTO or something similar again? Either way, that is a sharp looking truck you have now.
  18. Nice hairdryer. The manifold looks good too. Did you ever finish the intake manifold yet?
  19. Fixed. P.S. Why was this thread bumped, I thought it was dead.
  20. I have a bare block (and the rotating assembly somewhere) that you can have. It will definately need machine work though cause its been sitting outside since I scrapped the idea of using it in my project. It's free btw. Just let me know if you want it.
  21. I worry about manufacturing jobs a lot myself as I work in a manufacturing job. I've been fortunate to be where I'm at for the last 8 years, but idk how long thats going to last with the ceo of our company trying to move everything overseas (and proud of what he has done so far). One of my biggest fears (coming from a guy who does live check to check) is that they are going to cut the pay of the people in manufacturing just to stay competetive enough to keep jobs in the us. I'm starting to brainstorm other routes to try to get out of manufacturing (and hopefully away from living check to check), but it's not an easy task, and it's also one of my wife's biggest worries that if I were to try to start my own business that it wouldn't take off. But that's another discussion.
