When he is talking about your car, is he referring to the one in your sig? The way I figure it, your car is a 2000, by then they would have been using the ls1 that year anyways. So even if the 3.4 was used the exact same years as the lt1 and the 3.8 used the same years as the ls1, you would have a 3.8 anyways.

Would it be possible to change the input shaft and the bellhousing? I don't know alot about the t56, but I have heard that it is possible to interchange between ltx and lsx.

The way I see it now, since GM gave Pontiac (or what GM was going for for the sportier lineup) the axe, now there has to be some sort of replacement for the market of people who want something a little more fun to drive. I think they are trying to get away from Buick (in the eyes of americans at least) being a "grandpa car" brand. There has not been anything that seems like it would be fun to drive from Buick (I would make the exception for the supercharged models except that the Grand Prix GTP was sportier than what Buick was turning out) since the 80's, up until Pontiac got the axe. I think this line of cars they are coming out with are going to target here in America as the only reason Buick is around still (from what I heard on the news, but there could be other reasons, idk) is that they are hugely popular in China. Either way, I'm excited to see reviews on any of these cars as they sound like they would be much more fun than anything since the 80's.

First of all, good. Second, you will get tired of the power it makes and want to modify it. I'm just saying, when you get to that point, your money would be better spent elsewhere.

You know you can spend money on your car to make it faster and it would still be streetable, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of guys on here that do just that. If I were you though, I would just use the Maxima as a daily. Any money you would put into the Maxima to make it fast, just save it for something more worth while. You would spend more to try to make that Maxima fast than it would cost to build say an eclipse or a mustang or a f-body or ect... I guess what im trying to say is why put money into your daily beater? Especially a body kit...

I parked my old rx7 on the street once, the neighbors across the street backed into the car. My wife asked them about it one night when I was at work and they denied it, but when I looked at my car, then at theirs, you could clearly see our cars traded paint. I honestly would not have cared if they came over or left a note saying they hit the car (the fender needed replaced anyways because of the previous owner), I would have appreciated the honesty and told them not to worry about it. I'm glad they got evicted though.

My wife showed me this the other day on FB, I lol'd hard. This needs to happen more often to asshats like that.
