Whats the back story? cheap purchase, high miles, built from a donor?

 

Long story short I wanted something more track friendly (and cheaper) than my C6Z. Bought this for a steal. Has 110K on it.

 

Not many updated. Just picked the car up. Putting it up on the lift tonight to swap out the brakes and wheels.

Oh man, Dixie Motors. That place used to have almost only Fox body Mustangs on their lot.

I'm impressed that they did all the jambs and recesses. It's pretty sharp. How long is it taking them to do it?

 

Dropped it off Monday. It was done yesterday. They are doing the tint and headlights today.

It will be both Millz. The Welds are for racing in Mexico. Other wheels are for the curvy stuff.

I have Weld RT-S's that will be going on it.

The part numbers suggest ZO6.

Since silver is difficult to match and I needed the rear wide body panels painted I decided to try 3M wrap. The price is decent and it comes with a 3/5 year warranty.

I have a double cab 5.7 Tundra and love it. You "might" be able to find one in your price range but it will have 150K+ miles on it. You'll want an 07+ because of the frame issues.

Thought it may be a filler show for people waiting on GoT's but I enjoy it. I follow a podcast that discusses each episode. Always something I miss in each one that gets me thinking about where the plot is going.

I know now I can stand on my head and still work a keyboard.

If I hadn't just spend a bunch on the Vette I would have bought this for sure. Good luck dude. Loved this build from the get go.

Friend had a Jetta with that motor in it. He said you had to plan WELL in advance of any passing or even pulling out into the road it was so slow.

Small aircraft carrier? Those things are tiny. Even being extended they are smaller than a Ford ranger. I'm 6'1 and don't fit (headroom) in a Rabbit truck.
