  1. Very sad. It looks just like tannerite to me... I'm no explosives expert though. I know they have been talking about banning tannerite so here it goes.. http://i4.ytimg.com/vi/sAljrSJLuPk/mqdefault.jpg http://media.star-telegram.com/smedia/2013/04/15/15/49/67-i5XUx.St.55.jpeg
  2. I haven't had my trucks out in years. Where do you guys meet? Any good spots with nice dirt jumps?
  3. If you're planning on suppressing you should choose your can and find out how short of a barrel they will warranty the item on. If you shoot too short it will void any and all warranty's for baffle maintenance. As far as twist goes, you should just use the same twist rates as a normal carbine and up barrel: .224 / 5.56mm 1:16 up to 55 grains 1:15 up to 55 grains 1:14 up to 55 grains 1:12 35 – 63 grains 1:9 45 – 69 grains 1:8 55 - 75 grains 1:7 62 - 90 grains I run a 10.5" in 5.56 and a 9" 300 AAC as that's as short as my manufacture will warranty, and see no problems at all.
  4. ROFL... must be parking for imstock :masturboy:
  5. I've seen a few M16 carriers out there. I know sherluk at the local pro shows in town have a few of them at each show and you can buy complete uppers from them still around 550-750 depending on your options. I have a few rifles with stripped and complete uppers from them with no problems. However I'm not sure what specific steel they're made from.
  6. FYI - BCG are popping back up again. Got this email today. This is most likely the hardest piece to find in building your upper at the moment. http://www.shadez-of-gray.com/weapons-parts-accessories/ar-15/upper-parts/smith-and-wesson-m-p-ar-15-bolt-carrier-assembly-in-stock/

  8. I'm in love with the Nosler 10mm bullets. They are awesome! I use 231 or titegroup in most of my handgun loads.
  9. I paid $45 for my 40/10mm dies at Vances. They had some the other day I was in there. Do you need any certain brand? I started on an RCBS and now use a Lee wishing I would've started with Lee because now the RCBS dies don't work with the Lee bullet feeder. I may be upgrading to a Lee set in the future. If so I'll be willing to part with my RCBS set.
  10. I bet Cabela's or Vance's has them, right around $45
  11. Yesterday, I seen at least four cans.
  12. Lewis Center Walmart just got in a few 440rd cans of XM855 (62g penetrator) $199 limit one. Not sure if there is any left. Not that I consider that "bulk" most I've seen around in a while though.

  14. Sheetrock is just drywall. Its used in a lot of gun safes because of its fire and heat suppression characteristics.
