  3. yea but you have heating of the metals and such, so what might work at cold start up might not work with back to back 2-4th gear runs... Is that something a shop does/or I can request, when they put a cam in? great info by the way..
  4. yea, stock hydraulic lifters. is there a way to check PTV other than the clay.
  5. I realize this, but I would perfer not to order the cam if the PTV may be to close.

  9. Got a cam going in over at IPS in a few weeks and wanted to see what others think of my cam choice. My main concern being PTV clearance. Cam spec... 231/238 .638”/.615” 113LSA +3 Comp EHI/LXL lobes Cam was Specd out by Pat Guerra. Car is a 2010 LS3 c6. Hoping to make anything north of 470.

  13. Hey guys. I was going to do a nitrous setup, but decided to do a cam instead. I figured I would ask CR what cam they think works best for my needs. Car is a 2010 c6 GS MN6 What I want. 470+rwhp Great driveablitly. No surging or stalling I will more than likely port my TB and Intake as well. Not looking for anything radical. Just something that pulls hard through the powerband and drives well. Also what parts should I look at changing out. IE. Pushods, rockers ect. Lastly. I have a brand new nitrous setup in my closet if anyone is interested. (PM me if interested) Let me know what you think. Mike

  15. Mn6 3lt. Kooks LT Kooks 3in catted x. z06 borla stingers, MGW, Halltech intake. 6000k HID lowbeams and fogs. I have a nitrous kit, but decided to go with a cam instead. So I'm learing about them now. I love the GS, although there is a lot of hate towards them.
  16. Names Mike. I love all cars not just vettes. I used to have an 04 cobra (loved that car and miss it at times). I'm here to learn about cars and events in Columbus and wouldn't mind making a few new friends. Heard about CR from a few buddies that live in circleville.
