I used to come to DSM Shootouts. My first one was in '98 and I still have the t-shirt. Along with several friends, I managed & participated in the first DSM Shootout autox ever. In '00, I won my class in my ESP-legal 2G AWD and scored a certificate for a set of Kumho tires. One year, a bunch of DSMers from Dallas rented a semi and transported their cars to the SO. The stories of hooliganism and hilarious events were abound; even mixed with a bit of drama and romance. Several stories of clutch, transmission, and transfer case replacements taking place at a hotel parking lot. I still have old friends going there; none of us drive a DSM anymore. Most went to Evo, GT-R, and others; I was the only one who went to Corvette. I have entertained the idea of coming back, but could never find the time and the urge to go.

I agree. When I bought a 240SX from MD, the title was transferred to me without being notarized. OH BMV was cool with it, but I'd call and check with them just to be sure.
