  1. Infinity G35 awd obviously older models can be had with decent mileage near his budget.
  2. I have a tungsten and carbon fiber ring, fits fine all weather, and wet or dry. It did take a bit getting used to the weight of it.
  3. Lots of cars in your range : http://www.rs25.com/forums/f171-fs-cars-sale This whole thread is probably a waste of everyones time but whateves carry on...
  4. Don't know about the 4 door I had a 2 door 2000 Impreza RS2.5 and it's back seats were typical of a 2 door. Since your looking for a auto might as well just get a Impreza L .
  5. My 00 RS2.5 would burn oil, I put 190K on it never changed a belt or head gasket. Then again my 06 TSX burned oil to the point it caused the tensioner to fail and jumped timing. Maybe just the luck of my draw or driving habits. My current DD 06 Lexus GS300AWD , burns no oil, but is the lamest AWD car to drive in the snow ever. On topic OP could probably get a decent 2.5RS 2/4 door for a little over $5K
  6. Chrysler isn't a terrible platform rwd; 4g63 powered ; no traction control; IRS suspensions
  7. Tough choice mclaren imo wins looks wise. The mclaren has more HP and higher top speed out of the box. The gtr has a friendlier HP to $ ratio with competing tuners one of which is local Switzer who I am rather fond of. I would choose GTR. And you?
  8. Interesting indeed ; coincidence you didn't point out the slower examples I think not. Impressive time never the less. It is noted sti ran opposite direction. Can't deny the fact that the brz is running within a second or so of much pricier and higher HP cars at willow
  9. Got me, I'm waiting on a ECU.... On a serious note, you own both which car do you think preforms better?
  10. http://www.fastestlaps.com/cars/subaru_brz.html http://www.fastestlaps.com/cars/subaru_impreza_wrx_sti_25l.html Owning both which do you think performs better?
  11. Yes. That is the direction the thread was headed with Supra talk and such.
  12. Sitting on jackstands it has more potential than anything you have ever owned.
  13. VDubs and a FRS/BRZ, I see you have thing for slow cars, I get that.
  14. Compare a used STI to the BRZ then, stock vs stock I would be willing to bet the STI outperforms the BRZ. I won't even bother comparing the BRZ to a EVO VIII/IX. Your NA BRZ will forgotten when the turbo platform arrives, maybe you can team up with a Lancer OZ Rally owner and NA Impreza owner and have a pitty party.
  15. Let see the resale value on these NAs when the turbo platform is released. Car of the year lol, fanboy hype of the year.
