The manual x5 are dope. Just dont want to daily a manual car. Plus my wife and brother in law drive and use it so its better to be auto. I'm hoping to pick up the e34 540i 6 speed. That's an awesome car. Othereise ill settle for a 525i manual or auto. Really hoping for manual

You are right. I have zero emotional attachment to a car. I think if I ever bought my dream cars I would have no emotion to them. They are cars. They are fun to build and tinker with. They are a tool to put money into and make money on. Although right now e3x cars have my heart. But this to shall pass. My work gets me to emionrionally attached and drained cars are my outlet. Family ties up my mind. Ill never understand the guy who buys a car to keep in his garage that washes therm every weekend and stares at them. That's afraid to drive in rain or snow. I think my cars might get washed once a year.

So I ended up parting it out. Body panels and pieces have gone from canada to Puerto Rico. After crunching numbers on what I could sell for and how much money i would tie up into it I decided to part it out. Like I said earlier 2002 guys pay a premium for parts. Some pieces like a driver frame rail is NLA. It pulls $$$$ So my 2k purchase price I've turned into about 7k in profit so far with a few things left. I have rear quarters that are 500 each left and glass left to sell. Ive hacked up and sawzalled just about the whole thing.

I've come to the conclusion that i love early and late 90's BMW best. Im lumping the E53 X5 into this since its a glorified E39. My favorites being the Z3, X5 and E34 540i or 525i with a manual. In the past month I've added a Z3 and X5 to the stable. The X5 is pulling daily duties. I picked this up in Columbus and drove it down to Bama. Thing is a tank. 3.0 so reliable engine. Full air suspension on all four corners and factory tow package. I found a dude down here in a trailer park with Alpina 4.6 20" wheels with new rubber so i grabbed them. Also grabbed a Z3 that was a 1.9 with a blown headgasket. Head was sent to machine shop and will have it back together this weekend. Im going to enjoy this one before i eventually swap in a s52 and 2.8 rear wide body panels. There is just something so simple about this era of BMW's and they are all built like tanks and do not feel cheap and plastic. I will admit,I have owned a e36 m3 and,have no desire to own a e36 again. I'm picking up a e34 this weekend to round out this era of cars.
