Its going to get stripped completely and painted. Thinking Inka orange to keep it original but part of my wants to do Laguna seca or Porsche macadamia metallic. I'd prob kill any resale going with a non origanl color.

So out side pictures. The hood isn't latched that's why the moulding is off. Drivers door moulding is en route. Picked these wheels up locally for $75..gonna roll with them for the time being until I decide on a nicer set up

7k and you got a deal

So put it up on the lift today to get w feel for everything. Its extremely clean underneath. Saturday I'm going to put the weber on and take it for a spin. Here's some pics of the shock towers and areas that typically rust in these cars. This car shows no sign of rust.

It's later today. Did it work out for ya?
The FJ and those trucks... :megusta:
Yes and I took over his spot in the warehouse. So for now I'm going to work on it and get it driving and cleaned up at the warehouse before I drive it home. My two car garage is full and my driveway is full so I really can't bring it home until my.brother in law gets his mini out of my garage

BTW the owner was asking $5000 for the 2002. We settled at a price of $2200 where he lost but felt OK. I've messaged him that I'll take it. Arranging final inspection and towing later today.

Some pictures. This Ferrari was a flood car. Engine out next to the car being rebuilt by the owner. Its all owners who come in and do there own work. Lots of race cars. There was an amazing gt3 e30 m3 that I guess is quite famous. One corner was a guy who does full restore to classic cars. There's a air condition trailer for guys to go Inside and cool off and watch TV. Warehouse is like 25 mins from barber motorsports track

So this a warehouse downtown Birmingham. Its a place for car guys to store or work on their cars inside. Cars inside were amazing. I didn't take nearly enough pictures, like it would matter anyway Lol. Its $175 a month to store a car and gives you access to a lift. $50 a month to store an engine which gives you four hours on lift use.
The seller has been storing this car for a year @$175. He is losing money every month keeping it. He is willing to cut his losses and move on. He is over 5k in it.

have you ever driven an '02 before? They are slow. when in top running condition that one you are looking at made 98hp at the crank. My Tii made I think 140 crank hp and was decent for a little bop around car that handled really well being from the 1970's.
the $500 weber downdraft carb setup will make it a nice runner for scooting around town but the "hot" setup for these cars are 2 weber DCOE sidedraft carbs, a Schrick cam, a stahl header, and ansa exhaust (for the sound mostly). Of course that's an easy way to spend like $2002 on it before you've done any bodywork.
I haven't driven one. But I'm not expecting much. In was OK with a 68hp Mercedes 240d so this will be more fun.
For an extra $300 I can get a euro spec M20 engine , transmission, wire harness and ecu from a euro e30 with 100k miles on it. I'm going to buy the engine set up as well just in case

Slight lowering, wheels tires, DITCH THE FED-SPEC BUMPERS....would be a super fun cruiser. Good luck.
In my eBay shopping cart I have weber carb, front spoiler to ditch bumper, h&r springs and bikstein shocks, turbo fender flares and early rear bumper

Going back today to inspect again and bringing cash. Hopefully deal gets done.
On first inspection there was no rust in any major area of the car. Super solid but better to double check just to be safe.

Get a better phone please. Thank you.
The jokes old now. Not funny anymore. And no I won't waste money on a new phone. This one works and I'd rather buy cars and parts

Guys I need some advice on a BMW 2002. I found a 1976 locally here and checked it out today. It needs paint but its rust free and dent free except w small dent on roof. Mechanically the sole carb is jacked but I'd convert to a Weber for ease. It does fire up and drive. Has newish brakes and clutch. 80k miles original.
I know these are pretty much cult cars and them seem to sell for 10-30k regularly. This one wouldn't take much to get to be able to daily but cosmetically its going to need a full respray.
The owner is a super cool guy and just wants it out of his collection. We agreed to a price under $2500. For $500 I can get a weber and lowering springs and shocks.
Now would you do this? This seems like a can't lose situation to me but I'm just not sure.
I'm debating between a BMW 2002 or a w114 or w123 Mercedes.

The answer was six. As in no touchdowns. OSU offense against any legit defense, not saying TCU d was terrible but they were out matched , buckeyes are going to have a lot of problem putting up points. Haskins didn't handle the rush very well.
The b1g is a joke this year so I think OSU goes undefeated and makes the playoffs but they will get exposed badly when they do.
-
TCU has finished 2nd in 2017, 3rd in 2015, and 1st in 2014. They are not a "middle big 12 school".
OSU's offense was fine except for Mack's drops, which can be cleaned up. They put up 300 yards in the first half with 0 turnovers and 1 sack
And how many points did they put up again?
-
He’s too busy taking pics with his flip phone.
:lolguy: well played.
Serious did you really think OSU wouldn't start 3-0. I mean Oregon st won one game last year and Rutgers is garbage. TCU is a middle big 12 school. Buckeyes looked good tonight but TCU exposed some huge problems on their team. And OSU offense looked inept until the 4th quarter
-
Tua for heismem
248 yards passing 418 yards total in the first half. 11-15. That's nasty

Glad to see overrated Wisconsin lose.

We have vivant so doorbell camera for deliveries and front door. We have 3 additional cameras for living room for the nanny and back yard and garage area

I bet they meant to say tennis shoes since they said tennis shoes. They're like the sandwich of shoes.

One of my favorite cars out in the wild. It was stunning.

Tcu's defense is built to challenge passing teams. I think this game is actually going to be fun to watch. TCU offense needs to step up in this game if they want any chance of them winning.

How many miles on the motor? If it's the same as the car, be careful! Anything over like 5-6psi on those things gets a bit sketchy with high mileage. Still, will be a fun ride no matter what, and if you get that kit installed on a "Sunday" by yourself at home I'm sending you a bottle of something tasty! Turbo kits on those cars are NOT fun!
Do you have first hand experience with this platform. If you do I'd love to bounce some questions your way.
The turbonetics turbo kit seems quite easy to install. There's plenty of room to work and the car is already torn down getting valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket and ignition refresh.
