  1. Screw the other group, Make this thing huge...think big. Do you have some local members with some connections and experience with events? I can help remotely, but I think it is time to come of of the gates hard and fast.

  3. Lol, I think I have owned almost every brand of vehicle.......they all have issues. Some worse than others but certainly within reason. No brand is immune to flaws. My absolute best car ever with absolutely No issues....Tesla Model S. With no engine, there is not much to go wrong. Oh, almost forgot, I had to manually add washer fluid at one year.....
  4. Why do I think you belong in this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4EuXA8heXI
  5. Actually not bad, never really had a complaint. I paid $700/moth for a family in 2013....now pay $2000/mo and deductibles doubled. I feel sorry for those less fortunate who have been screwed by this debacle. A friend who paid less when the plan came out was thrilled by paying less. Until he got a $5000 promotion at his job and he no longer qualifies for the reduced rate he once had, has to pay back $3900 to the Feds on his healthcare....He should have turned the raise down.
  6. Without getting into how screwed up everything in the healthcare industry is since Obamacare took over…… Try a private MRI company. When I had my medical distribution company we needed to do an MRI for a particular procedure. The hospitals would bill the patient $3000-$3500. We went to a private MRI company that was not associated with the hospital and got it done for $650. It might've changed names now, but it was called open MRI on Bethel Road.
  7. Brian, give me the good news……
  8. Following this thread. If you come up with anything let me know, since Obamacare has taken over, my premiums have tripled in less than 2 years. It's a shame that our government has created a program to make sure that everybody has health insurance....but almost nobody can afford it anymore. Insurance companies have been given a license to steal. I just talk to a couple of people, who clearly are just above poverty level, and this program should've benefited them most. But even their health insurance has gone up to the point that they can'to afford it! If it's too expensive for them, who exactly was this design for? Has anyone....even the people without jobs or homes benefited from this program?
  9. Lol, yes Scott is the name. I think success can be measured many ways. I have several friends who would not be considered financial successes, but they love their lives and are happy and have great families. And that is success in my mind. I have done well and I would say that being quick to pull a trigger is one reason. It has not always worked out, but I always felt that I would have rather tried and failed.....than to hesitate and always wonder what might have happened. Having a spouse who believes in you helps too. I grew up in Minneapolis and had an offer of a business opportunity in Ohio. We never had been to Ohio. We would leave everything we knew. Family, friends, great neighborhood......for the unknown. Within 24 hrs, she said, if you need to do this, let's do it.
  10. Pull the trigger dude! Stop hesitating.
  11. I have an office building in Hudson, I love it up there. Contrary to most of what is being offered up in this chat, I would do it. Go big or go home. The relocation thing is become more scarce. Could you get an apt for a while before that decision needs to be made? Get the experience you need to move on. Experience is like another college degree, you gotta have it to move up. I say do it. But then again, I like to push the envelope. I think you do too.
  12. That has been there since Sept 2013...........
  13. Smart dude! They hire the best. He will do well.
  14. Of course, our government does it every day! Not to be sarcastic, but EVERY business started...loses money for a period of time. Might be one year, might be five, might be 10 years. You may be paying all your bills, but have no profit. You still create something and pay your people and buy raw materials...circle of life in business. No one goes into business to NEVER make money, but does have a business plan, to eventually make money. If it fails, some do, well it did not work out. But everyone somehow made some money and had jobs, while the businesses was trying to succeed. Shareholders buy stock because they believe that the business will succeed, if it fails, oh well, move on buttercup. Don't buy stock if you have no stomach for it. Better to have tried and failed than to never try at all......or should we just quit trying because it just might not work?? I love that there are doubters, we need those people too. But in the big picture, Tesla is going to change the entire car industry....like it or not.

  16. Glad I doubled down, up $23 in 24 hours. The company will bleed cash as long as they are doing the infrastructure, nobody will care. Model 3 will seal the deal.

  18. Why did he accuse me of stalking him for 6 years? Just because I did..... I have nothing against him personally, he is nothing to me. But I did want to make sure nobody got screwed by him! He is a total disaster, a legend in his own mind and a liar. That is the only part I cannot tolerate.
