  2. Thorne, I remember you mentioning to me that I would get a "Tax Credit" due to my income. This is why I said I wouldn't count on it. This is even coming from a biased media source (in your favor as well). Link: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/11/19/woman-cited-by-president-as-obamacare-success-story-frustrated-by-sign-up-process/ Brief Excerpt: " 'Your household has been determined eligible for a Federal Tax Credit of $0.00 to help cover the cost of your monthly health insurance premium payments,'the latest letter said."
  3. Yeah I got what you're saying. Is the box it is hooked into running WiFi or on the LAN (wired internet)? If you have a finished basement then I'd assume it has insulation between the drywall downstairs and the floor upstairs for sound suppression, which also does a damn good job of blocking WiFi signals. When you get home see if you can grab a quick picture of the Roku setup and the box thing.
  4. Works now. Messed up because it's a teen and his killer hasn't been found. At least google is being cool and willing to step up and fix it soon.
  5. I'm not familiar with Roku's, but is it wired directly to an internet source or is it running on WiFi? We ran into this a lot at my apartment, our DVR loves to lag a bunch if we fast forward or rewind and it is WiFi based. We got fed up with it and ended up mounting the router about 4 feet up on the wall which boosted the signal a bit and eliminated the laggy issue. It has to travel about 20 feet through almost 6 walls, so if you have a similar scenario I'd see if moving your router to a more suitable position aids in the signal.

  7. Didnt make much progress this weekend. Have to remove the intake manifold which is a two piece design. Lost motivation on the second bolt. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/18/2e3y5a8u.jpg Also had a lot of blow-by from the pcv system. Factory IAT sensor. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/18/epy8urab.jpg
  8. If I had the money I'd be all over this thing. Saw this the other night at sawmill, awesome deal.

  10. Eventually when the 1j goes ill go 1.5 with a built 3.0
  11. Just get a GS300 or GS400 and put a little loving into it. They are awesome cars and the GS300's last forever
  12. Yikes. I love how it seems like this car hooks 95% of the time. Normally it's pictures don't do something justice, but photos really show how much this thing really gets down off of the line.
  13. I've gotta thank two people so far for putting up with my "noobness." I've had a lot of questions over the last week and both have been quick to respond, not to mention their build threads are VERY useful. Dustin and Albert have been a great resource so far, only one is a member here, but figured I'd give some credit where it is due. Well so far I've decided to make my own harness and stick with ProEFI 128 and run a 1ZZ coil setup. Making my own harness may seem a bit overboard, but it will clean the bay up a LOT as the factory loom runs around the back-top-side of the engine and looks hideous in my opinion. I'm going to steal him and a friend of his idea and drill a hole on the trans tunnel/firewall bend to run the harness through. This may seem like a bad spot, but I've recently learned of a "TEFZEL" wire that is Mil-spec and is very resilient to burning/corroding, etc. I've also talked to a few people about getting the head ported, my valve stem seals are definitely on their way out, so I may end up pulling the head to do those. I figured I might as well make the trouble worth it if I pull the head. At a minimum I'm going to have the head slightly decked and throw on a new head gasket and hardware to ease my worries of blowing a head gasket at high boost. I feel like a 7M owner now :dumb:. This is his engine bay on his 2JZ, he recently joined CR and I stole this picture from his signature on SupraMania, although I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing it. Shows how much of the bay is cleaned up without running the harness across the bay. I'm also debating deleting my ABS module like he did. Seems like more work than I want to do, which is ironic since this build is going to be a lot of work.. http://i.imgur.com/jMfvLQp.jpg Also gonna end up replacing the leaky P/S pump and possibly doing the rack and pinion as well as looking into putting Air Conditioning back in it. Seem's a little backwards but it's always nice to have A/C since I plan on driving this a lot once it is done. I normally hate being "all talk" but work and school have me tied up big time right now :fuuuu:, so no progression photo's will arrive until I get done with this semester and get a month or so off. I've almost got all the funds together to pay for my turbo, so getting that in will provide another big post filled with pictures and other fun specs to add in. Here's a little teaser photo of what it will look like... http://i.imgur.com/p6PMfa9.jpg
  14. I was trying to clarify what Wagner said. I wasnt agreeing with or disagreeing with anything
  15. What ramsey said. The S2K got the equivalent of 3 cars and the hit since the track was shit and Ray didn't have traction. I would never run a $15,000 grudge race giving my challenger 3 cars and the hit, even if they were on a pedal bike.
  16. What are the requirements for this "paltry" pay?
  17. Have you contacted Evil8? I'd give him a shot first. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/member.php?u=4907
  18. Thanks, Chris! Hopefully it's done while I'm still with the same employer, otherwise you may have to bring your road course queen out to Cars and Coffee so the 90's cars can meet!!
  19. http://ano.lolcathost.org/thumbs//costanzaPopcorn.gif Thorne, did you star in this?
  20. If you would had brought that up when Sean Butt called you about the clutch release hub when he came to help me out you likely would have been able to then
  21. I honestly really considered it for this. I talked to Jonah who has the LSx Mk3 but after discussing all the work involved, I didn't like it. Not to mention the transmission sits halfway into the passenger side floorboard. I'm almost too tall for this car as it is. Let alone with a larger transmission in it :dumb:
