  1. Truck-no. Supra I did last year, only because a buddy gave me wheels and tires dirt cheap and I ran with those.
  2. If you can't find anything on here, I searched car-part.com, and they showed Stricker Auto Parts in Batavia to have a few ranging in price from $110-$150, either being an "A" or "B" grade.
  3. Because long-tube's won't pass emissions when required. They are designed to eliminate catalytic convertors which is also illegal in a few states, not sure about the age of you vehicle and if it is "required" to have a cat. Painting them is super simple. Put some tape over the entire flange so you have a clean mating surface and so no paint get's down into the primaries, then go get some VHT paint in your choice of color that is rated for exhaust temps at AutoZone, Advance, NAPA, etc. and start throwing on a few coats. It's easy to do in your garage. Just grab a metal coat hangar, bend it to your liking so you can put it through a bolt hole, and hang it from the garage door rail. It will not only make them look better, but it will help in keeping them rust-free for years to come  Just my $.02.
  4. Thanks for opening up, Doc. Had a great time as usual.
  5. Count me in. I'm indifferent between a movie or video games. I could bring up GTAV again. Crummy it's only a single player game
  6. I like this idea. These things get killer economy and look awesome to me. Not sure on sound though, but still cool nonetheless.
  7. I'm currently employed, but my current employer has no desire to move anyone who is part time to full time in the near future, that coupled with a few other factors is driving me to look elsewhere. I'm really looking for somewhere that has room to move up. I have experience in Construction and Automotive repair, although I don't have a degree. I'm trying to get out of the auto parts field, and into something that pays a little better. I know this is a broad, and kind of open post, but I'm open to anything within reason that has potential to make it a career and room to move up with the work put in. If you know of any positions open, please let me know. Thanks!
  8. It was the plastic clip I was in search of. I reused the factory one, and had it pop out of the filter housing, which made me worry it was one of the "one time use" deals. I shoved it back in the housing as hard as I could, it hasn't done it and I've driven it 300 miles since then. No problems now so it should be good (knock on wood). I did find a P/N for it, just in case.
  9. Is this standard or automatic? Edit: Looked at the pics, auto.
  10. I'm sure it's similar to the capacitors that you likely already have encountered in some of the early 90's Toyota/Lexus cars that leak. That's what I'd put my money on. I know a few Celica Supra guys with digital dash's had similar issues, and it ended up being a capacitor leaking.
  11. Gap Band Boys Ft. Haussin the Gas
  12. I have no idea what they cost, but I'm sure if you posted details of the laptop someone will find one for you. If your car battery goes out, but ran fine otherwise for what you were using it for, do you go buy a brand new , or new to you used car?
  13. Replace her laptop battery for $40 and call it done?
  14. I'm 6'6' and had a hell of a time getting into and out of it.
  15. Look, another GT86 chassis on CR... SURPRISE!! But I loved riding in this thing today. Compared to your car it doesn't have much, but it still will put you back in the seat. The flappy paddles look fun, and they are a lot more responsive than I expected. Look forward to this at AutoX at some point!
  16. After talking with a fellow Supra owner today while pulling his 2JZ, I decided it would actually be quicker to pull the engine, and then remove the stock twins, than try to take them off in the car, this will make a lot of stuff I'm wanting to do easier, might do a few other things at the same time to ease my mind.
  17. It's already a heavy car, and although unsprung weight affects the car in a much higher ratio than the sprung weight, I'm not too worried about it.
  18. Page 100. Saw her car tonight (Panamera) I think. Plate read "LDY PRZ"
  19. One of the wheel options I like. XXR 530's in Chromium Black. I feel like this would offer a nice touch complimenting the White. Still gives a little flash, without going overboard. I'll search for a picture of this on a Mk3. No guarantee's. http://www.wheelplususa.com/images/wheel_image/medium/1330067500/xxr530_Ch_Black.jpg
