Cobra in the barn is a book of short stories of barn finds. Super easy reading. https://www.amazon.com/Cobra-Barn-Stories-Automotive-Archaeology/dp/076033661X/ref=nodl_ Rob Siegel writes articles for bmwcca and while his book is more of a committed read it brings meaning to the craziness that possesses car guys who wrench hopelessly on their cars. As a bmw guy myself, it has kind of become my bible for balancing life, family, and cars. More praise for (Tim and) ceramic coating. What used to take me 3 hours to wash/detail my cars now takes 1 hour as I no longer have dirt, bugs, tar, etc embedded into the surface to scrub off. Which also means less abrasive scrubbing, marring, swirling, etc. And I used to use sealant and wax. The hydrophobic phenomena is legit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you read any of Tom Cotter’s books? I’d have a beer with that guy any day, him and Rob Siegel are my automotive hero’s right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Were you running this past Monday? It sucked! I was in a silver E36 M3, had I known you were a fellow CR member I would’ve said hello! -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What’s a guy buy when he missed the boat on his mid life crisis car? Caddy with a corvette engine. Bring your walker Gramps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We have 2 kids under age 4 and LOVE our Cayenne GTS. Just the right size, fits into garage, fun to drive. (S)Q5 will be too small if you have a second kid. Are you looking at the 958 chassis? I didn’t think the t-case issues were that bad and mitigated by finding one with oil changed or low miles and change oil? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

...and I replaced most of those before you bought it [emoji23] Still miss my B5 very much! Ps. We need to meet up this summer so I can see the old girl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Better start applying armorall to all that shitty GM plastic, gonna take you awhile Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Uber Rinseless is an amazing product. I bought a jug and made quick detailer with it and did a rinseless wash in the garage last fall. Also used as a lubricant to claybar another car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks! Definitely loving it, wanted one of these for years and finally had the excuse (and blessing) to add one to the fleet. Engine is a peach and pulls like a freight train for days and days and days and days... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh man, can’t wait for spring, he and I need to get our cars together and snap some pics! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did a quick wash with CarPro Reset and admiring how Tim’s detail and ceramic coating is lasting. It’s been just over 7 months and 4K miles and water and dirt still just shed off! Granted the car rarely sits outside, but super pleased! 2003 BMW M5 Gets Corrected and Coated https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_fid=42687&share_tid=128707&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecolumbusracing%2Ecom%2Fforums%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D128707&share_type=t Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Big vouch for Mark and MVP. They run a top notch, first class program. I’m a seasoned Mid O driver but still wanted some help on my line and he worked it out to get me some top notch instruction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Tim, nice work! My 2008 M3 engine bay looks about the same and I need to throw some love at that car now that it sits next to the M5 that is so fresh and so clean (clean). Might be giving you a ring about that. I'll vouch for John's (he goes by JD) M3. I've known him for several years, we've driven on track together, I've helped him bleed brakes, scan codes, etc. He's passively tried to sell the car (never posted on CL or autotrader, etc). He's looking to get around $25-26k I believe, and it has some nice mods: KW V3 coilovers, Stoptech BBK, exhaust, CF lip spoiler. The story on the front bumper is the car was wrapped for several years, he just pulled it off and some paint came with it (bumper was previously resprayed). So he bought a euro bumper (deletes the ugly US reflectors on the side) and I believe is getting it painted. I can also connect him with anyone from here if needed. I have zero skin in the game, just helping out a buddy - and trying to convince him to get a Mosler to replace the M3 so I can play with it

Looks great Tim, kudos for taking the next step in branding and marketing!

Tim, amazing work. I saw the car right after he got it and it was a completely different car. It was rough. He's addressed the mechanical side and you clearly made it sparkle. If I can get one more E39 M5 in your garage to work on I suspect you'll start looking hard at used ones

For the early cars maybe. 2001-2003 are pretty stout.

Miracles were worked this past weekend. The transformation Tim was able to accomplish is unreal. I bought the car from the original owner from Daytona Beach, FL. I had a million pictures and a PPI and of course when I flew down to get the car it was raining cats and dogs. I didn't realize the issues with the paint until I stopped for gas in Georgia and got a good look. She looks amazing and with the CanCoat SiO2, she will stay that way :fuckyeah: If anyone is curious, it's actually a Dinan S2 car and I'm planning to bring her to Cars & Coffee this Saturday. Tim, thanks again!

Tim, I’m speechless and I haven’t even picked up the car yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great job on the Camry, that last hood pic reflection is :fuckyeah: Clay has been twisting my arm to contact you about my latest vehicle addition so PM coming your way!

Clay, I'm late to the party here but looks great. If you rolled up on my corner I'd be like damn you can have my turf and my hoe's. Respect.

Looking to get an oil pan and some other parts cleaned and don't want to spend hours using up bottles of brakekleen and brain cells on it. Anyone around Columbus (specifically Clintonville) that does this reasonably?

Can anybody recommend a German car shop in Cincinnati ?

Andy, You'd prefer PittRace over Putnam?! Pitt is technically my hometown track as I grew up in North Hills of Pitt and my brother lives minutes from the track but I remember Beaver being short and just meh. Is the new track that good? Putnam is safe and grippy and a hoot for working on technique (transition from fast turn 1 to slow turn 2 is so much fun). Maybe I need to go home and see my parents -Eric
