  1. Just full time positions.
  2. Lumenance, it's an electro-mechanical consulting company in the transportation industry. We're working to expand some contract positions with a new client, however, so this is a bit of a new area for us. Website is http://www.lumenance.com, and you can also apply under the careers section.
  3. Pay would be based on skill, ability and range and could be anywhere from (shooting from the hip) $12-30/hour. I know there is one position for just a tire tech to mount/balance and there is another position as a vehicle dynamics technician with several in between. Have your friend send a resume with job experience over! -Eric
  4. I'm going to +1 on everything Andy said. And in addition to that, Putnam Park, just West of Indianapolis is a great beginner track in that it is not as fast as Mid-O, there is a lot of run-off if you mess up a corner and it's a fun, technical track. 10/10ths Motorsports runs there several times in the summer, and they are a great HPDE group to run with and offer 1:1 instruction and classroom time. I plan on attending at least one of their events at Putnam and it's an easy drive if anyone wants to tag along.
  5. Thought I'd post up that my company has some contract positions open related to auto tech, specifically test vehicles, tire mounting, brake work, etc. These would be full time contract positions with benefits, OT, vacation and located North of Marysville. You can send your resumes to connect@lumenance.com, there aren't any specific job listings posted. Hope this can help someone out!
  6. Not to thread jack but new to this forum and just realized I saw your car at TimmayFest at Quaker Steak this summer. I was parked near you at the back of the lot and had no idea what a ViewT was. Funny how small the car community is in Columbus.
  7. How did this event turn out? I wasn't able to make it but did some consulting work for CVG in the past and know their history with the Ford GT40 (one of their companies contributed alot of bodywork for Ford). Would've liked to make this and will have to mark it on the calendar for next year. I believe the CEO has one of the first couple cars that was produced.

    I'm new

If I told you my wife wouldn't let me have a blue car would you give me -10 rep points? JK, got my car used back in 2009 and was pretty limited on options in my budget.

    I'm new

Let's see how bad I fail the sticky for newbs, here goes... Name is Eric, happy to be here. A coworker (dq driver) referred me to this site on a FS ad and I thought I'd check out the scene. My car is an E92 M3 and in the last 2 years I've slowly dipped my toe in the road course/HPDE scene. Here is a shot in action at Mid-Ohio last month: http://images5a.snapfish.com/232323232%7Ffp63568%3Enu%3D737%3A%3E794%3E259%3EWSNRCG%3D3574824%3B6734%3Anu0mrj Previous rides were Z32 300ZX (NA), B5 S4, Integra GS-R, G35 coupe. I'm an engineer, I like long walks on the beach and my favorite color is blue. And I like ice cream.
