In 2009 the going rate for a low mileage rebuilt salvage 06 c6 was Around 21ishk$ I wouldn't sell the car as a whole.. You never do that with a heavily modded car especially a corvette. Some reason people like them stock. I would sell off all my aftermarket parts and part the car out. I'm still confused how you added the salvage vehicle price twice and got like 17k. They only charged me once for it but for the most part your fairly close

You can call faul all you want but that's how it went down. I have 10k in the rebuilt salvage c6. Then I started modding. I really don't want to add up how much I have in parts n shit modding it. Regardless it's a corvette and still has a wicked wow factor. You mad bro?

Your not understanding what I'm trying to say.. Say the loan is 30k.. I put a 10k down payment so now the loan is 20k, I wrecked it and the insurance company agrees to give me 30k back... Upon settling with that agreement. I choose to buy it back for 2k.. So now the 20k loan gets paid off and I get 8k transferred to my bank account. I can't Barnie it more than that.. Note these numbers are used as an example of what happened. So as you see I'm not negative and only money spent was 2k for the car.

I never told the insurance company how much I put down. I told them how much the loan was for not like that was there business.. That would be stupid of me to tell them I put xxx down payment and I would only want the loan paid off

I considered it an investment at the time because salvage vettes with 18k miles was bidding around 21k-23k then.. I had little over 10k$ invested into it. I could of sold it for a quick 20k$ and put nice down payment on a c6z but I promised my old man I wouldn't sell it if he helped me. The settlemental value I have in this car is worth more than cash I could sell for. At times I wish I would of done that but I wouldn't have near as much mods as I do now. Prob would be h/c c6z but nothing crazy. Regardless of title status it's still a c6. Your average joes dream car

It used to be crazy. The wreck was when I was 20. I had a few speeding tickets, but never got a speeding ticket in the vette yet (knock in wood). I never paid interest.. Only thing I paid for was the deductible which was added in the price the insurance company was selling back to me. Never made an issuance payment either. So happened in my favor without me knowing their was a recall for the 2006 z51 lt3 corvettes. If you move the telescopic steering to much it would cause a short and could lol up one side of your brakes causing you to suddently swerve to one side and If your not ready could cause you to wreck.. It don't take much to "total" a corvette the majority of the cost was in labor going about fixing it. In which for me it was free thanks to some good friends and my old man for helping. I fail at body work.

With Ac and heated seats retaining the factory stero system. but I highly doubt I'll be the first m6 c6 in the 8's with this set up given I learn how to race at the track. Although there has been Shoaf and his 9.8 sec stock ls2 with this same TT kit running out of gear.. I belive the fastest m6 c6 on the 1/4 was a c6z that was just h/c only on a 150shot stock drive train r(-clutch) ran 9.3 if I'm right. The cars power will Be there and with eboost it'll be able to use every bit of it. Only issue is the safety equipment required.. But I just need to get some stones and take a shot at it atleast once. They guy that builds my TT kit said he would sponser me if I can break the c6 m6 record. Not getting hopes up but would be sick!

He had to re-wire the Ecu plugs. The Ecu was fine.. Still in my car. Car never had an alignment issue or any electrical issue in the past few years I owned it. You wouldn't knew it's been totaled without me telling you. And yes if you total a vehicle the insurance company will sell it back to at a precentage of what they could get out it. It's not fraud.

The car is a rebuilt salvage title car. I bought it with 17k miles 38k$ in 09.. Clipped a garb rail at 15mph which I replaced the front bumper,fender,rim,door panel. After insurance paid the car off I bought it back from them or 6,600$ cost me 2-3k$ on parts and about 1.8k to paint the car. I do Plan on owning this car for a while..now has 40k miles. It's in my build thread with me talking about it but not sure which page on ls1tech. People can say w/e they like About the title but I'm still sporting a twin turbo c6 being 23yold that I worked hard for. I could of parted the car out and got a c6z a while ago but I made a promise to my dad if he helped me I wouldn't get rid of it. So I started modding
