That was the first time at the track with the new spinny thingy. It damn near doesn't clear the hood when I shut it. It takes it a second or ten to spool up lol.

Hey got to see my truck go down the track! nice vid. I assume that was your mustang? Was that loud ass back fire a nitrous backfire? Scared the sheet out of me and a few people I new asked if it was my truck lol. I actually looked at my intercooler boots after that pass because I couldn't tell.

Did anyone catch the 2000ish camaro runnin 9.80s or faster with no roll cage or shute? That thing was retarded scary fast with no roll cage. I can't believe the T-tops stayed in the car lol. That silver shivic was fast also. Anyone see the numbers it ran?

Had alot of fun! Didn't really meet anyone from the CR crowd but I was the only smokey piece of sheet diesel there today lol! Ran a personal slow of 11.95 at 115 today. Ran a consistant 11.65 with the old turbo. People said track prep was really good but I was 4wd spinnin like CRAZY! Maybe the new found power with the new charger or to tight of a converter was the reason??? The truck ran great but shifted like pure dog sheet. Couldn't get it to shift at the comanded 4,000 rpm I wanted it to for anything. Im sure being a extra 400 lbs heavy than usual didnt help7450lbs truck running 11.90's is still ok lol? Still had fun and got to see some dear old friends and drove the truck home no problem. Hopefully next time i'll get to meet some more of my CR family and hang out with them more! Eric

Made a couple test hits today and hopefully with a bigger fueled tune the new turbo makes a little more boost than 25 lbs.....I know its bigger on the exhaust side but gosh damn did it come on slow. Fuel and time will tell. Hopefully the old lady gets feelin better to watch the new born that way I can sneek away for a few tommorrow

looks like ill be there. Got the turbo all finished up except the cai and the parts for it should be here this week. Drives good and spools suprisingly well! Hope to lower my record time by a few tenths!!!!!! Eric

That is crazy high. i would get a used engine and put in it. They don't spin bearings very often.

Tony is a hot head. I really doubt he did this on purpose. I race dirt track go karts. I know this is very apple to oranges. The tracks are rough, Little to no lighting sometimes. Most are wearing black fire suits. I have a video on my laptop of a guy doing the same exact thing to me. Keep in mind we were under caution prob only doing 20 but it was in a corner and he was walking from the inside of the track up to my kart shaking his fist. If he spun to the outside I would have never seen him. Our karts have alot of stagger just like a sprint car. If i let off the wheel down a straight in a caution it will turn left vilontley. Dude should have never left the car. If you have ever sit in a sprint car there isn't very much room to see. No windshield and the wing is right on top of your head. Something that is direct drive and made to do 130+ going 40 in a caution is hard to keep running like said above. Its not like you can down shift or push in the clutch. Its either running or not.

When I race my go kart "dirt track oval kart" I have a tire machine. Basically a old go kart axle powered by a electric motor on a stand that spins my tire. I then take a belt sander with light grit paper and some windex. Wet the tire and give the tire a nice cross hatch scuff with the belt sander. Gives the tire the fresh rubber you need for a nice finish and sticky tire.

If there is a idler pulley in the system spin it also with the belt off. Ive replaced many through out all makes!

Thanks, being a 4wd truck that I still tow very lightly with that would be nice. ? I was thinking more of the lines like AFR or aftermarket. I have never even heard of old school factory alumn heads. Looks like I just need to get a "bigger" mild cam, intake, 64cc heads, and play around. Or get one of those cheap azz ebay single turbo kits and charge it

IMHO perfect combo for want I want.

I have a 86 chevy truck with a SBC. It has headers, dual exh, edelbrock rpm intake, small comp cam 268 cam, 650 cfm edelbrock carb. They claim 435hp out of this kit IF the truck would have 9.5 to 1 comression. I would say the engine I have is around 8.5 to 1
