The BPA Gen 3 Tri-Y prototype manifold is complete. This is Tri-Y #2 for BPA. The first one is on Alex's car and has not hit the rollers yet. Hopefully the other odds and ends will be completed by the end of next week, and we can get this old girl on the dyno to see what kind of power she makes.

Make your turbo Drain at least -10 if not -12. Different companies make flanges if you need one. IE OCD works makes a quality billet drain extention. Also if you bought a hurst line lock, there are provisions for multiple brake lines. When you have ebay knock offs, they just do one line at a time. And I recall going for fittings a few times to get my line lock installed. Keep it up! Dyno day is coming! I expect you to be there! -
Slots are OK on a DD IMO. Holes have a tendency to crack over time and cause more surface area for corrosion. I would not put them on a car that sees harsh weather/salt/ohio winter.

What issues did you have? Just curious. And what model Z-Force did you have? LZ-L (lapbar), ZF-S (synchro steer) or ZF Commercial?

Oh its definitely my turn! I've been patient long enough. Now I want to go racing!

Its my turn in line at the BPA magic factory. Here are a couple shots of my manifold coming together. Hopefully it will be finish welded this week and the other misc. items can be addressed.

If you buy a Samsung, they are all basically MAP pricing, so everyone will have the same price. As far as Vizio and other brands, I haven't had a whole lot of experience with them. My Samsung UN65JS8500 is amazing and has fantastic picture quality. UHD 4k up scaling works decently and I cannot complain about the TV one bit. The fact I got it from Amazon and they shit the bed on delivering on time made it frustrating, but I was able to get free gas for 2 people for over a month with the Giant eagle fuel perks, so I was more annoyed than anything. Seems like 4k will be a real thing shortly, so If you are buying a TV to get you though, it may not be worth it, however the 4k train is coming. I would say in less than 3-5 years 4k will be as common as 1080p is today.

Why not something more visual. Like a C-Bus Racing? Or just race this C-bus: http://carnut.com/show/01/chev/chev116.jpg

Nice to see she will live again. Hope to see you at the B3R Dyno day again! -
Bazell got back to me after I followed up. $344 per 55 gallon barrel. Currently out of stock and they expect to get a shipment in next week... so I guess the price from MAP isn't too shabby.
-
That's in MN. I am trying to avoid shipping drums as I have the tools to pick it up. And I haven't got too many quotes, but $6 a gallon seems pretty high for plain jane E98. I am waiting on Bazell to get back to me.
-
FIC 2150s. They don't deal with the oxygenated fuels well, and I like the idea of tossing E85 to get most of the power if I want to play on the roads.
-
Curious if anyone has a good lead on someone that sells E98 by the drum or 5 gallon pale. I am hoping to dyno the car on E98 in a month or so and I am starting to look around, and not finding too much. I contacted Bazell race fuels in Logan, Ohio as they seem to be the only local distributor for Ignite Ethanol. Keep in mind I Need E98 only, not VP C85, Ignite 114 (red) etc. My injectors cannot handle oxygenated fuels and it would mess up my flex fuel sensor in the car. If I was to tune on oxygenated fuel and then use pump e85, things would like go kablam and exit the block stage left. Any tips or places you have used in the past would be appreciated! Also if anyone has experience with Bazell race fuels, I would love to hear that as well.

LOL "Big cub cadets" Those are in the "garbage" category IMO. Step up to a Z-Force or Tank and you will see a very large difference. I agree with the previous comment. lightly used Commercial equipment is a much better investment than new residential equipment. They build to suit a price point, not a need. Also the whole time aspect. When my father bought a tank lapbar unit, he was baffled at the time savings Same half acre yard 21" push mower - 1hr 30min 42" JD garden tractor - 40min 60" Cub Tank LZ - 15min What is your time worth?
-
Everything under 2k is going to be a 5-7 year mower and it will be falling apart. You will need to step up to the mid grade/commercial grade if you want it to last. Working form MTD myself, I can attest all entry level riding tractors are garbage. I wouldn't waste my money on one. IMo the best true zero turn mower (used simply as a grass cutter, not plowing or digging) would be the Z-Force S or the Tank S. Syncrosteer makes zero trns a breeze and you wont turf your lawn up. Lap bar units take a lot of practice to get right, so I always suggest the steering mowers to people who don't have a lot of commercial experience with a lapbar unit. I saw a Z-force S for sale the other day used for 1800. that is a solid 20 year mower if you take care of it.

um im not sure what is so amazing about this, but FYI every bolt has been torqued in GM power train for years. I guess its not wireless, but every station has torques that have polkayokes in this way.

Time to get this project in gear. Here is the first piece to the new hot-side puzzle: These new turbosmart "hypergates" have some of the most versatile spring options on the market. I am going to try out their 35# spring package and see how much boost I can squeeze out of the precision 88!

Solid guess. Luckily I have the manifold master Alex L working on this. I hope to have more of the mani pics next week!

The stories are much more entertaining than pics of naked chicks. As linked above you can find that anywhere. Dating taught me one thing, 80% of women are nuts, and the fall out on our man big Oxley is entertaining the hell out of me.

I find tapatalk more cumbersome than helpful on other forums.

I hate that this is now NWS because surfing on my phone is cumbersome. However this thread still delivers.

Ive had nationwide forever. Every time I have shopped around for better rates they are always for less coverage. Also I pay about 100 a month for a beat up old truck and a razekar. (600 a half) Not sure if you guys own a fleet to save $95 a month or just have miserable driving records (mine is not spot free by any means) 500k per incident /100k medical per person involved plus un-insured motorist, etc.
