Yes, where can I get access to unique bottles like single barrel picks that are >$500. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

So where do we get access to "picks"? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

  4. Replacing the turbo coolant lines on the GL450. Stupid plastic nipples break, so I ordered all 4 front lines. Everytime you touch one they snap off. I had to make a coolant line removal tool. Thank goodness for "disposable" harbor freight tools. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

  6. Wife wanted to switch the appliances over to stainless steel because we needed a new dishwasher and range top. Existing was black. The replacement in wall oven was $2k+, so I bought the face pieces ( door, control panel, vent) for about $350 and switched it over. $$$ Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

I tried the Woodford Reserve master's collection, "chocolate malted rye" last night. I was pleasantly surprised. Initial vanilla and char flavors make for a smooth sip, but the cocoa finish is pretty amazing. It really sticks with you after the oaky tastes are gone. Definitely not an everyday drinker, but I'd like to pick up a bottle to keep around, the flavor profile is definitely a conversation piece. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  8. This, I didn't make it to the food but, Portillos is a must. Famous for the Italian dip (look it up), Chicago dog, and the chocolate cake shake. An entire piece of cake blended into a milkshake, delicious. For Chicago style pizza we like Pizzanos. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  9. I would say that's the hardest thing in life, finding that happy medium between fun/enjoying life and planning for tomorrow. That's what kids struggle to grasp. I'm all for a fun car, just live in cheaper housing then. GTR and a one bedroom in Hilliard, or a Honda Civic and an arena district condo. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. We go a couple times a year. Do you know where you are staying? How old are the kids? Shed Aquarium is great, I like it better than Monterey Bay. The kids museum at the Navy Pier is awesome. The other 3 museums are good too. (Field, industry, history) Lincoln Park zoo is free and great if the weather cooperates. Navy Pier is a fun afternoon. You can also do all of the googleable scenic overlooks and skydecks etc... I would stay downtown as close to the lake as possible (we like the Hyatt), but if not, use the train, it's easy and convenient. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Ditto, I'd love to hear the specs. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

  13. I agree when I was younger, couldn't imagine a payment near $400. I preferred to buy a cheaper car and modify it at that age (still do, lol). It's all about priorities and where you decide to spend your extra money. Now I have 2 car payments that are each over double that, situations change. Everyone's circumstances and goals are so different that it's hard to advise without more information. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah, back in my property management days, we had a spell in '09-10ish when we spent a week removing ice from roofs. It's amazing how much water can flow inside in a few hours. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Well, the joys of home ownership have struck again, two steps forward, one step back. Had some ice damming this morning when we woke up. Water dripping in from the family room ceiling: Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

  17. Making decent progress in 2020. Got the vinyl plank down in the basement, hoping to have it done by the fights Saturday. Still need shoe mold, new media cabinet, paint, and eventually kitchenette/bar area. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

    Gun goals 2020

I like that kit. I'll probably pick one up when I get to that point. It'll be easier than sorting through all of his out dated stuff. He didn't really have any high dollar guns, just usable stuff. We have the whole set of Remington 1100's, a Spartan coach gun, Marlin 22LR, lever action 30-30, 233, etc..... Mostly things I bought him through the years and would like to hang on to. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

    Gun goals 2020

I'd like to buy another range pistol, not sure yet but probably another sig. I'd like it to be something I can carry. Definitely want to get the wife to Joe's class and get our permits. Other goal is to figure out storage at the house and get my dad's guns up here to be cleaned up and in good working order. They've been stored away at my in-laws since he passed. I'd like to shoot some clays this year. Lastly, not exactly gun related, but I've been itching to get a bow out again. I used to really enjoy target shooting. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  25. I'm sure someone will chime in, but this is a common thing on g8's so don't fret too much if it takes a bit to get to it. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
