  1. 2nd time I've dealt with Jordan and Jet Auto. Great group of guys to deal with, very friendly and got exactly what I want. Definitely worth the trip out to Cambridge.

Looking forward to doing more business in the future!

  2. Unplug the power cord and wait like 2 min than plug it back in. This will "reset" the TV. If that doesn't work, get a new one. Not worth fixing. They are cheap enough these days.

Did that. It was unplugged for 4 days while I was out of town.

I got the back of it taken off right now but I don't have the slightest clue what I'm looking at..

  3. When you power it on the light should flash an error code. As in 6 flashes means this 7 means that.

When I push the power button, the light flashes ones, then shuts off and goes back to being solid red.

An 09 TV in the scheme of things is pretty old today.

Given how cheap new units are, if it costs more than $100 to repair, I'd reinvest towards a new unit IMO.

Said the exact same thing to the lady lol. Was planning on getting a new one during the holidays this year.. Looks like it might happen sooner.

  4. I came across the aluminator's this weekend. Just seems like so much money.

    2012 Mustang GT $25000

    Aluminator is $9000

Sell stock motor -$3000 (does that sound right?

    TT kit $5,000

    Tuning system/tune $1700???

$37,700, which wouldn't be bad for a car that can do 130mph+ or whatever it would do, but that's without touching wheels/tires/transmission. Wheels/tires would be a must based on what I have seen from the high power mustangs down here, and even then they are still losing traction. Comes down to the stock auto trans...how is that going to handle that kind of power?

I can't comment much on the auto. All I can really say is I hardly ever see any posts about one breaking. I've got the 6 speed in mine.

You could probably buy a car with an aluminator already in it. I see them for sale all the time.

  5. You can get away with over the 600 mark on a stock bottom end. Close friend of mine has almost 20k miles on his stock bottom end making 640rwhp. I plan on about 600-620 on my coyote.

Your best bet is to pull the stock 5.0, sell it for a few grand, drop in an aluminator and boost it. See it all the time on the mustang forums. You can pull good money for a stock coyote motor as a lot of people do swaps with them.

  6. Was watching TV last night and all of a sudden it just shut off. I thought somebody sat on the remote or something. Picture didn't distort or anything, just shut off.

Went to turn it back on, made it's normal clicking noise when it powers on, buzzed for a second, then shut back off.

  7. My TV decided to give up last night. It's an 09 model so it's not incredibly old. Would rather get this one fixed if possible instead of paying for a new one since it's still a very nice TV.

Anybody have any shops or people they can recommend? I'd like to get a quote on the total repair cost before deciding if it's worth it to fix it or just repair it.

    Thanks
