  1. this car comes with same big brakes as 08 R32 (345mm). Many parts are exchangeable between the two (and Audi A3 3.2).
  2. http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/image1_zpsawx1g82l.jpg Downpipes will be here Monday, but must add 2 O2 sensor bungs upstream and plug the two further down, or extend the O2 wires. So it looks like the work will be done next weekend.
  3. That's the main idea. I doubt I gain much hp from this as the stock system flows very well as it is, but it will definitely sound badass. I will post pics of the instal and sound clip once its all in.
  4. for my 06 3.6L 4Mo... now waiting for the downpipes from Lucifer in the UK, should be here early next week. http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/IMG_2017_zpsmfvskk6a.jpg?t=1433265673 http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/IMG_2018_zpspqwk949h.jpg http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/IMG_2019_zpsfj9dogj5.jpg
  5. when I was at OSU, these ppl (one man and two ladies) showed up on sunday morning around 6am to wake me up after I had just slept 45 min from partying that night. I nicely told them to leave and they did. A week later they showed up again, so I stripped naked, grabbed my guitar opened the door, and sang "Las Mañanitas" as loud as I could dancing with the thing swinging side to side... never came back.
  6. This is Ruud Van Diesel (R.I.P) http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/1923964_25646089475_5146_n_zpssaikjkxg.jpg And now we have Yukiko the koolest Akita Inu http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/11119140_10153340424759476_7183331071086192163_o_zps51ko1ob7.jpg
  7. http://www.saris.com/catalog/racks#&sort=2&filter-9=on&filter-4=on I prefer Saris products, well designed and lifetime warranty. You can get them locally at roll: on Lane Ave, Polaris Pkwy, or Main St.
  8. When a similar issue happened to my supra it ended up being the turbos needing rebuilding/replacing. If I remember correctly, the money it took to replace to stock turbos was similar to the single turbo upgrade so I opted for that option (t72) and ended replacing the valve seals as part of the work as well. Is not a difficult task but time consuming nonetheless. Have you found someone in the area to work on your car? Try at the supraforums.com they may be able to help best.
  9. as I already mentioned, a tranny swap is in order and possibly a turbo setup, but I need to calculate this carefully. Car feels really good as it is, so the turbo may not happen at all.
  10. used to with the Supra, but have very little time nowadays.Very bz in the office. Would love to go auto-x someday with the Passat and see my lap times. Been thinking to swap the tranny for a 6spd manual (A3 3.2L or similar) or just go DSG, not sure yet.
  11. http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o746/erotero/image1_zpsawx1g82l.jpg Sorry for the bad phone pic through my office window. Aaron, you are correct! I do indeed have a tq (and not happy about it). Upgrades so far include full test pipes, Bastuck exhaust, CTS-Turbo intake, Yellow Koni Sports w/ H&R Race springs, H&R front sway bar, 034MS (rear sway bar, front and rear links, strut mounts/bearings, hd dogbone mount), SuperPro bushings all 4 corners (anti-lift), PowerStop rotors w/ red stuff pads, REVO Stg 2 tune, OZ Racing Superleggera w/ Michelin PSS.
  12. Hello all! It's been a while (8+ yrs) I visit CR since I sold the Supra, but eager to be back (sorry still no Supra). Still living in the C-bus area, work as an architect, but my passion for motorwerks goes back to my childhood helping my uncle work on rotaries for drag racing. This time I'm working on my daily driven 06 VW Passat 3.6L 4-Motion (aka R36 eurospec), with lots of things already done so far but more to come. I hope I can be as good a teacher as I am a student in this community. Be glad to help.
