I can type faster on my iphone keyboard than I can on a computer full 102 key keyboard. I can type pretty fast too.

I think regardless of what Apple does I am pulling the trigger on this. I am tired of paying $150/month for two phones. I bet I could get two of these HTCs on Sprint on a family share for less than that. 900 minute range. Here is a quote on what people think the price will be.
