I felt the same way watching. Aside from getting out and putting my knee on the back of her neck, against the highway, until the cops showed up...I would have out ran them I guess. Problem with that is you have two speeding bullets and one that's willing to ram you. That could end tragically. As for those two girls, I think they did the right thing just avoiding as much as possible.

Thanks I hadn't thought of beside the TV until your post. Buying that other Polk was more than a DIY center build, but I know that Polk produces the sound I want, now two is even better. As for my receiver, if running those in series causes a problem, it'll be the reason I needed to replace it with one that has more HDMI inputs.

Corner looks great.!! I could have stood two up on either side of the TV like that. Room is there.

Speaker order was made today. My TV also sits between two tower speakers, but nothing delivers voice like a good center channel.

This was a rerun from before the all this shit happened.

What you're looking at is the speaker sitting under a 50". From what I measured, when I put the new 65" up there, the space that will be where the speaker is will be roughly 3", less than half the height of that speaker. As much as I would love to keep using it, I can't. I'm left to build a center hoping using 8 2" speakers will give me the sounds of my existing.

Are you using speakers that will be good and loud? If so, would you care if I assisted in making another like it? 3" sounds just like what I need.

I knew I needed a center channel due to having that now. I talked Soundbars because of how then they are. Talking to guy at Best Buy, he says they weren't meant to be powered by anything and won't work for me. Even if I used an optical cable to the TV and a remote to control the volume, the sound would be off from the rest of my system. This leaves me with finding just as you guys stated, a thin center or build it. I need something that's a few hundred bucks with quality. My current on screams and no distort. Don't want cheap and poor sound.

Yes, it's smart. I'll look into that. I always keep the TV speakers off. I use my Polk center for most of that. I was hoping to stay in the $300 range for the bar. I'll see today at best buy.
